Loved the breakfast! Even though it wasn’t the typical “free with the room” plastic eggs and engineered bacon type of breakfast, they offered a menu of home made items with “better” ingredients, with various breakfast sandwiches and dishes for a modest price. I’d rather pay a little more for their breakfast than wonder if I’m putting a mass of preservatives into my body.

The sound outside of the room (i.e. sirens, horns honking, etc.) is an opposite contrast to the breautiful oasis that awaits inside of the hotel courtyard and bar area. I wish there were ways to dampen the tragic sounds of Southern California, but that sorta fades away into white noise after you get used to it.

Great location and I loved that parking was a guarantee since you're paying. It is $13/day (no tax). The hotel is literally across the street from a marketplace with Starbucks, CVS, nail salon and many more shops. I also felt very safe here. The building on the inside is a bit older, but overall I thought it was a nice hotel. Some of the rooms are inside the main building, but most of them are outside and secured with a locked gate. We got a single king bed and the room was very spacious compared to other hotels I have stayed at.

The bathroom door was a sliding door and didn't lock because the lock appeared to be broken.

The hotel lobby was nice and clean, so it made a good first impression. The room was spacious enough, had updated furniture and comfortable beds, and the bathroom shower was really nice. The only reason why I did not give it a 10 is because the parking was somewhat limited. Though we found a parking spot each time, we had to drive around the building to find it. Also, the hotel did not have complimentary water or coffee/tea in the lobby, and there was no free breakfast. Other than that, the hotel was an excellent value for the price, and we will stay there again.

The location is PERFECT! CVS, Albertsons, and much more are located right across the street from the Cove, with a traffic light right after the exit, leading to the shopping area! Also, many fast food drive thru available very close by! The room is huge and the rainfall showers are especially appreciated after a long drive or flight. If the beds were better, this rating would have been even better!

Bed could be comfier... They make crinkly sounds when getting out of bed! I guess you can't sneak out once you get in! LOL! Seriously though, it's not hard to wake up your spouse should you get up to go to the bathroom.

This hotel is a gem! The beds were comfortable and very clean. The pool area was beautiful and well kept. The area is ok. We are from a country town so we were a little uneasy with the area. While we were in the hotel we felt safe but we didn't want to leave the hotel for food, we just did Uber food and had them bring us food. We ate at the hotel café for dinner and breakfast and everything we got was delicious! We chose to stay at this hotel again when we get off our cruise because we loved it so much!

Just the area it was located in. We are just not use to the city life and homeless people being everywhere. While we were in the hotel we felt very safe though. If your use to city life it will be no big deal to you. It was just a culture shock to this country girl.

The hotel was exceptional. Very clean and modern. All staff i encountered were courteous and helpful. They have a cute little bar inside with drinks and some food which was nice after a day of walking around. It was too cold for the pool but that area was nice, music was played, and they had a gas fire that came on every night. The room was larger than I expected, and was very comfortable. The shower was nice and big and water pressure was good. Beds were nice and soft and everything looked clean and washed. We were about 20 mins from USS Iowa and 15 from the aquarium.

The hotel is located near a shopping center and other surrounding fast food places, which attracts the homeless unfortunately and there were a few that could easily walk into the parking area. We just had to be on alert when leaving the car.

Located near a shopping centers with a lot of services and restaurants. My room was updated and clean, comfortable bed, and really nice bathrooms with toiletries. Parking fee of $13 per vehicle was reasonable, my room was close to the entrance to the parking lot. Staff was friendly and accommodated my request. Swimming pool looked nice and the big chess game was nice too. Overall I recommend for a short stay, we went to a concert in LA. 20 min drive to the Fashion District.

Maintain the swimming pool clean, lots of hairball and bugs

We liked the bed that had extra sheets and pillows, the pool at night, the games, fire pit, the lounge chairs and bar. The ladies who worked that day were all nice and professional. The lady in the morning helping with the snacks was really sweet.

1. The side Parking spots were sketchy and not a lot of lighting. 2. It was suppose to be a heated pool but we were told it was broken unless the guy didn’t know how to turn it on. That same guy who came to check the pool didn’t say anything to us, he touched the water and looked under something and walked away.

I was really surprised by the size of my room being so roomy and clean. Had everything I needed for a comfortable stay before my cruise. I did have a street view and they were doing fireworks somewhere. It was a great view, but not too noisy for me during the Halloween weekend. Esther was very helpful accommodating me in every which way. I would stay here again and recommended it to my other cruiser friends in this area.

I had a street view , and it was Halloween weekend and somewhere close by they were doing fireworks, which was beautiful to watch from the room. Not too noisy or the hotels fault. I just took my hearing aids out and watched the Fireworks, Beautiful views. Nothing I did not like about this hotel.

The pool and other amenities.

The only problem we had on our stay was our upstairs neighbor who was awake all night blasting music. He wasn't respecting the no music after 9pm policy. It was 2am, and he was still awake. Our toddler hardly got any sleep, and he was cranky all night and morning. Our drive back was a nightmare. With the said, my wife also got cut by one of the corner tiles in the bathroom, and she was bleeding quite a lot. Unlucky, we always come prepared with a travel size first aid kit, and I treated her wound. Regardless, it was still caused her a lot of pain and discomfort when walking. So, it's safe to say that our stay wasn't all that great.
