Unlike a number of other inexpensive hotels where I have stayed, this one was very clean and completely free of any roaches. Also, everything was working, such as hot water, electrical outlets, etc. Finally, I thought the $200 security deposit listed in the booking process was a bit excessive, but the manager ended up not asking me for anything at all!
The manager kept telling me over and over that only one person could be in the room, as if I were going to try to sneak in a bunch of friends and/or family.

No problem with checking in to the motel. Staff was very friendly. It was very convenient to use booking online for the reservation. I would recommend it to others. The area and location was clean and well maintained.
The bed sheets need to be bleached or replaced, other than that it's very much comfortable, convenient,and the area is very quiet and friendly.

The Beacon is great nice management and good ppl... Out of all of the Hotels and Motels in that area in Long Beach on PCH between Long Beach Blvd and Golden Ave The Beacon Inn is the most affordable and reliable....
THAT THE ICE MACHINE IS THERE BUT NOT ALWAYS ON OR AVAILABLE....other than that no complaints here...

The traffic was the only noisy thing. The room was great. Staff was pleasant. Don't judge a book by its cover. Thank you to everyone there.

The place was quiet. The room was roomy and the bathroom was spacious. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presented its self.

The owner was fabulous. Not the best place I’ve ever stayed in but he made up for that with customer service !!
