Well located in Manhattan Beach, where we were visiting friends, who told us the hotel's street was a busy one. So I wrotel and asked for a room facing away from it, which the hotel replied saying it would be organised. The room was a suite with two rooms, one bed, one living, with a sofa bed. The free breakfast was good, the room fine and clean, and the staff really friendly. I wasn't expecting much and it easily exceeded expectations. The teens liked the gym.

Slightly alarmed by the sign in the basement carpark saying the hotel had been built using materials that are known carcinogens!

Literally, it was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. Even the coffee maker was properly cleaned, which is hardly ever the case for most places. It also had an excellent breakfast bar served at reasonable hours. The staff was always polite and willing to answer questions. Honestly, it was a quaint but a very comfortable experience.

The parking lot was a bit eery, and the first day we arrived, it smelled like people had been smoking down there, which was not pleasant. There is some construction going on currently, which made the building a little tricky to find from all the scaffolding, but otherwise, it did not hinder our stay.

Nice, large room with 2-part bathroom. Kitchenette and separate "living" room. Clean and recently upgraded/redecorated.

Kitchenette was empty of supplies - no cups, plates, utensils, etc. Micro and fridge were present, as with any other motel. Room opens to exterior and was cold. Heat was noisy.

Great location - easy drive from LAX and really quick drive to Manhattan Beach restaurants and the actual beach!

I wish I had been on the side not facing onto Sepulveda .... small amount of car noise ... not enough to ruin my sleep, but it might have been more peaceful on the other side of the building.

Excellent hotel! The room looked exactly like the pictures presented online and was exceptionally clean with plenty of bedding + towels available. The breakfast set up was excellent with a huge selection of hot and cold foods available. Huge thank you to Sergio at reception for being so patient and helpful!

The charge for parking seemed abit unneccesary

Lovely location, meaning we could get around LA easily in the car. Lots of shops and restaurants all within 5-15 minute drives. Close to airport for access but not enough to be disturbed by airport traffic. Great parking underneath hotel with lots of room so never didn’t have a parking space. Peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff.

Hair dryer in the room was poor, would bring my own next time.

Rooms have been newly redecorated. The bed was comfortable. The rate included a full breakfast... Eggs, breakfast sausage, make your own waffles, fruit, yogurt, Danish, juices, Peet's coffee

The room smelled like pizza (though it was clean) and the air conditioning unit's cover made so much noise I had to dampen the noise by moving the couch up against it. It helped, but it was still pretty loud.

The property is a short distance from the beach, very clean and good customer service, very friendly and quiet

It was under construction, so was not easy to find outside of the building was not a good view we got lost and had to turn around because we passed it

The breakfast included over a dozen selections including eight rotating hot items. It was very well stocked and the room and courtyard were all very pleasant.

The surrounding area is fairly bare and heavy with traffic. There isn't much to walk to and a lack of public transportation options to reach anywhere.

Professional, friendly and welcoming evening and morning staff. Had an issue with the AC, Sergio handled it promptly. Room was spacious, comfortable sitting area, separate from the beds. Room provided everything we needed for our stay on Christmas Eve. Comfortable, clean and a short drive from the Manhattan Beach Pier/downtown area. Would definitely recommend to others and stay here again.

Minimal items: bedsprings could be treated, noisy when sitting on the bed or rolling over. Closet door did not roll smoothly, could use an adjustment.
