We had a corner room that was quite spacious and felt like a small apartment. Really nice white shutters and blinds to block out light. Updated spacious and nice bathroom, lots of light options, everything needed was provided. Owner is extremely nice, helpful and customer focused. The wood floors both in the rooms and outside are very quite so you don't hear anyone walking by. Nice grounds as well.

The busy road is hard to get around and our room was on the busy road, however, having the air conditioner on and the great double blinds we couldn't hear the street noise at all.

We had a great stay at Hi View Inn & Suites! The room perfectly clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location couldn't have been better – right near Manhattan Beach. What really stood out was the excellent service from the staff. We accidentally left some important belongings behind, and the administration not only found them quickly but also kindly agreed to keep them safe for us until we could retrieve them. Their professionalism and helpfulness made all the difference, and we truly appreciate it. Highly recommend this place for its convenient location and friendly staff!

I loved everything about about the small quaint, well located Inn. We’re locals, I just wanted a fun spontaneous staycation night with my husband.

I had misplaced my drivers license, I had all credit card with my name on them, including my work badge. The clerk refused to rent the room. It was a surprise for husband which was ruined!! I had to call him to let him in on the surprise. I had to advise he didn’t needs anything but his wallet!!

Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and high-quality linen. We stayed in an upstairs room at the far end of the main road, and it was very quiet. We booked for one night while waiting for a flight the next evening. The airport was a $35 Uber ride away. There were plenty of restaurants within a short walk, and Manhattan Beach was an easy 25-minute stroll.

There was no kettle to make a cup of tea and only paper cups were provided.

Situated a very short ride away from the airport (Lax) and from the Manhattan Pier and Hermosa Beach. Clean. Young woman at the reception very competent and friendly. Big parking (free).

It would have been better if the personnel (very competent and pleasant, btw) had been present at night. Minor issue with soap dispenser under the shower.

The only thing I didn’t like about my stay the room was very small for the price I paid 385 me and my friend literally had too stay in bed no room too walk we had too eat on bed it was so uncomfortable

Location to Hermosa Beach party. Tina was very friendly. No carpet. Pretty clean. Room looked good.

Walls are thin and can hear TV of other guests. Towels are small, thin and rough. Bathroom light is attached to a noisy fan. Could not keep light on without the noise. Bed was mostly comfortable but squeaky.

I travel full-time after living in Manhattan Beach for decades. I always saw this motel but had never stayed here. Why did I wait so long? The value of the stay for the dollar far exceeds most of the 5-star hotels I have stayed in. The rooms have gone through a remodel recently and are up to date, exceedingly clean and super nice. I stayed in the most inexpensive room which meant I was closest to Sepulveda Blvd and yet I slept soundly 10:30pm to 6:30am. I will absolutely stay here again.

What I did not like is not changeable and is also why the price is what it is -- this is a motel with doors directly to the outside and the busy Sepulveda Blvd. just feet away. Despite that, I never felt unsafe and I slept soundly. It may not be ideal if you need to stay inside your hotel room all day (since the traffic is near by) but my room was the closest to the Blvd. and the ones further in may be quieter. Worth asking!

The motel rooms were attractively decorated, and their helpful staff made us feel welcome. There is a coffee machine, refrigerator, and microwave in each room. It had enough free parking not to have to search outside the hotel area. Its location is perfect for shopping and getting to lots of So. Cal. attractions.

I would have loved adjoining rooms.

The lighting was not heinous white LED’s. The location was good. They had a microwave, fridge, extra blanket, good fan, TV and everything you need in a bathroom. The front desk woman was very nice. It felt safe.

The room was right by Sepulveda so I could hear the cars if the fan was off…not too bad though. I wish there was a booklet that explained where the ice machine, local places and maybe a tv guide.
