Bedroom was very clean and comfortable with ensuite bathroom. Bed linen and towels changed frequently. Breakfast was very delicious - something different each day. Pat and Courtney are very warm and sociable people. They were very welcoming and helpful with directions to activities. We felt very much at home with them. Location was ideally suited for the beach, local restaurants, Los Angeles and highways to other areas. Security was excellent. The individual keypad to both the Inn and bedroom was easy to use allowing anytime access. Reserved car park spaces were only round the corner from the Inn. If we ever visit Long Beach again, we would have no hesitation in booking with Pat and Courtney again.

This is a beautiful, old, meticulously clean and charming home. The room overall was comfortable and felt very homey. The owner fixed a fantastic breakfast every morning and was the star of the show. She was also caring and warm.

We were told to park in the back, but it should have been emphasized exactly where to park, because we parked to the right and were towed by the apartments nearby. We should have been told to park ONLY on the left side. It was unclear to see the specific signs in the dark. The mattress in our room was worn and somewhat uncomfortable unless you slept at the edge. it showed wear in the middle. Also, the sink had a large crack in it.

Beautiful house, nicely decorated, and the room was supplied with everything we'd need (including robes!). Delicious breakfast completed by great conversation with other guests at the common table. Walking distance to the beach and very each l easy to explore the rest of Long Beach via the easy to access city bike rentals. Friendly and helpful host! Would definitely stay again!!

The mattress felt a bit worn, could use an update. But we slept very well.

The host was super welcoming, we felt right at home. The breakfast was so nicely prepared and Pat made sure that everyone can eat what they like. The rooms are small but that only adds to the charme of the house. They were really cozy and comfortable. The location is perfect t if you want to explore Long Beach and even day trips in the LA area by car or with public transportation were quite easy to do.

Super clean arts and crafts style cottage just a couple blocks from the Pacific Ocean and beach, huge park, and several restaurants. Parking is included off the street--which is a big deal in Long Beach. Very restful nights.

Breakfast portions could have been larger; though I suppose we could have asked for more food. Didn't think of it :-(

It is the most lovely craftsman home built in 1913. Our room had wonderful windows providing great natural light. Ceiling fan was great too! We could easily walk to restaurants and the beach area. Pat and Courtney were so kind and have thought of everything you might need or want during your stay.

Our Kennebec room was a bit small but there’s plenty of larger spaces to spread out in the house and patio.

This place was very cozy! Loved the outdoor patio! Love how close to restaurants, bars, the park, and the beach was! 100% recommend the acai place next door. Parking was free. It was peak of summer so it was warm. It is an older building but nothing this fellow central valley girl couldn't handle. I just know this place feels amazing in the spring! 10/10 recommend!

My experience at Beachrunners was really great. I was expecting breakfast, but I didn't expect it to be so good! I was also really impressed by the all of the amenities and the attentiveness of the owner.

The only think that was less than ideal is that, due to the nature of the building, privacy was a little compromised. The room was really comfortable, but because it was essentially just a bedroom in an old house, it didn't feel as private as a hotel room might.

It was very well kept and in a quiet location. We walked to the pizza place across the street. Miss Pat was very pleasant and hospitable and made a delicious breakfast with many choices every morning. I would absolutely recommend this place.

The location was very good. Didn't have to pay extra for parking. Staff was very cordial and accommodating. Would not hesitate stay there again. Breakfast was very good. overall great atmosphere.

Nothing that I can think of. My wife and I agreed that we would stay there again if we were going to that area.
