I have stayed at the Beach Inn twice now while visiting family in Long Beach, and it's great! Clean and comfortable and within walking distance of both the beach and great restaurants. The staff are kind and helpful while also respecting guests' boundaries . It's not exactly luxurious, but it has all the essentials a traveller would expect. I will certainly stay there again.

I like to have a cup of coffee to help me wake up in the morning-- at the Beach Inn, the only coffee maker is in the reception office, so I didn't feel able to get my morning coffee until I was already fully ready to go out the door. On the plus side, this was a great excuse to enjoy a latte at a local cafe instead (of which there are plenty)

The property is located within five minutes of walk to various locations nearby for good, shopping. Right directly to our right is a cute little place for breakfast, brunch, and more importantly, COFFEE!!! It is right next door. It does t get any better than that. Although in a busy road, we wore ear plugs and shut out every possible noise. To be honest, I use them at home too. The wood shutters blocked out the bright lights, which I was grateful for. The parking lot was well lit to discourage anyone from considering my ride.

I cannot think of anything I did not like.

It was clean. There was a grocery store a few blocks away so we were able to walk there to get snacks. Short Lyft ride to cruise terminal.

Hard bed. No elevator for second floor. No coffee maker in room.

There is an excellent coffee/breakfast shop next door (Zuzu's Petals). This motel is well cared for. There were healthy plants and fresh paint in the parking area. We attended a wedding at the Ebell Club, only 2 blocks away. Very convenient.

The staff was friendly staff. I had a large, clean room with a hair dryer, refrigerator, microwave and large TV, and received clean towels every day. The amenities were limited but that's to be expected considering the price. The location was an easy walk to the convention center. I received great value considering the cost of other places in the area.

A coffee maker for the room would have been nice but not having one led me to walk to Recreational Coffee at E 3rd St and Long Beach Blvd for a delicious latte and scrumptious pastry. A place to hang up clothes would have been nice also but not necessary because of what I brought to wear.

The location was great for walking to dining and nightlife. We stayed the night before heading out the next day on a cruise and it did not disappoint! The rooms were clean and updated, the free parking was great and the staff was friendly. I was happy that we could walk to dinner and local bars and then just walk right back to the hotel feeling safe and at ease. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends traveling to the Long Beach area. Great price for the accommodations for sure!

Nothing bad to say about this property or the staff, very satisfied.

Location was perfection. The room was affordable and SO CLEAN! I love staying at privately owned hotels because the owners and employees are always so kind and go above and beyond for their guests. We got QUITE an early check in for free and it made our entire trip 1000x better. I stayed here for an event at the queen mary (dreamstate) and I loved this stay so much. If you stay here for an event like this please clean up and be respectful! We need places like this to keep seeing our events as a POSITIVE! I stayed elsewhere last year and it was fine but it was similarly priced and was way sketchier, louder and not nearly as clean and well kept. This place is a GEM. The location of Beach Inn was so perfectly in between everything we wanted to do. We walked to the qm the first day and rode the scooters the second, and we were able to walk to find food and scooter to the beach and the amazing Historic Art Theatre on our recovery day. I never had to take an Uber. There are so many things to do and a ton of food options and bars nearby! I definitely plan to stay here again for any festival at the queen mary so if you book here be nice and respectful so they welcome our return :)

The rooms are large and comfortable. There's a large desk, the bed was big and comfortable, the bathroom was satisfactory. The room was clean. The room is updated. The front desk person was easy to talk to and was able to get done what I needed. I keep coming back because of the room cleanliness and close proximity to the cruise port.

There is zero sound proofing. The road is busy and their are fire trucks, ambulances, etc that go down with sirens all the time. Plus people honking in traffic. From the exterior, the place does not look great to the eye.

nice but high price for the property

Clean, close to LOng beach convention center and Pike outlets. Super clean, free parking and close to city attractions. I only stayed here because no hotels were available. And.....it was not to shabby!!. I had to buy my own pillows because the bed and pillows were firmer then I like. But my husband had no complaints, then he took one of my pillows. Price was good for budget renters. Free parking. Huge Perk.
