Loved everything here. Arrived early expecting to just store our bags but were told we could have an instant check in if we upgraded, the upgrade was to a king and queen deluxe room. It was very reasonably priced and the room was amazing. So much space, clean, usb and magnetic phone/watch chargers. Mini fridge in the room. The rooftop pool was stunning and really lovely and warm. Both my kids loved it here and didn't want to leave. Went onto a different hotel elsewhere in LA afterwards but we are already missing this place and wish we had stayed longer. Everything was perfect!

The location of the hotel is excellent – everything is within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the bed was extremely comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep.

However, there were a few downsides: our room faced noisy ventilation units that ran constantly, which disturbed the peace, even though we didn’t book the cheapest room. The room itself was clean, but the bathroom was just on the edge – could definitely use some improvement in cleanliness. Overall, a mostly positive experience, but there’s room for improvement.

We stayed here while evacuating during the worst part of the Eaton fire with my pet. I felt genuine concern from the staff and received great customer service while we were here. The front desk was more responsive than anywhere I have stayed. I was and am still grateful and impressed. The room was clean and comfortable, I would stay again in regular circumstances.

Food in the area is a bit pricey, including at the hotel, but quality doesn't really justify it. It would be great to have a mini fridge in the room rather than just a cooler, but if you stay here knowing this in advance you will be fine. There is no parking included, but there is a paid garage nearby.

Made every effort to ensure our stay was amazing. It was my sisters & I birthday. We don't get to see each other enough, and I wanted to provide her with an exceptional experience in Long Beach. The Centric was a big part of that with the wonderful accommodations. Our first contact at the front desk was the best I've ever had at a hotel. Amani really went out of his way to provide us with wonderful & warm welcome. I would return based on my encounter here.

Checking out. We asked for partial validation for the parking garage. The young gentleman at the front desk was curt and short and came off as judgmental. I can say "Snippy" at best. Not everyone of means wears labels on their clothing and luggage. Maybe he was having a bad morning, but there was no warmth to him. I don't wish another guest to have our experience. After our encounter I didn't care what his name was.

The bed was a little lumpy. I did not like the idea no microwave is inside of the room. But the manager on the premises, Darnell was above and beyond. He made sure he accommodated my mother and I we need more people like Mr. Darnell. I would only come back because of the service and how well he made us feel welcome . There was another gentleman I cannot remember his name, but he was also very helpful on helping us with our luggage.

I did not like it did not have a walk-in or rolling shower. I did not like it did not have a recliner chair. I did not like it did not have a microwave provided in the room.

The decor was updated and beds comfortable. The pool area was nice with a great view. The location was walkable to aquarium and boardwalk/pier area. Close to restaurants. Staff was friendly.

Parking was very inconvenient arriving on a busy weekend. Couldn’t find a spot in the offsite parking garage and had to valet at a neighboring hotel a few blocks away for $50. Found a spot the next day in the garage for $16 per day. The checkin was late by an hour. Traveling with 3 kids made this super inconvenient. They did give me a $75 room credit, which I appreciated. However, I’ve never had this happen before, so it makes me wonder about management.

The staff was beyond amazing and did everything in their power to make our stay an excellent experience. Norbert helped me in the days before we arrived with booking 8 rooms; Darnell welcomed us and checked us in, arranged our rooms to best suit our needs, gave us tips on getting the most from our surroundings, and gave us all very warm and personal attention. Richard the bartender catered to us with patience and humor, even though we were a group of 20 that came and went throughout the afternoon. The hospitality folks were all friendly and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable. The TV set was probably the best I've ever had in a hotel room. Huge and on a swivel that made viewing the screen great. The rooftop pool was fun, and the food and drinks were all yummy. The small first-floor cafe also delivered with amazing coffees and delicious food. I can highly recommend the avocado toast! As for the location, perfectly situated at the Long Beach Pike, with many attractions within walking distance, and lots of good restaurants. Just an overall wonderful time, and the perfect venue for our family celebration.

Our room had a bathtub/shower that was a little outdated, but the rest of the rooms our group were given had modern, large walk-in showers.

Loved roof top pool and location

When booking we were mislead to believe we had an ocean view and the sofa our room looked and felt dirty which we needed for sleeping. City and shops gave off a “has been” 80’s vibe. We were thankful for the Starbucks nearby because restaurant at hotel was over priced ($20 breakfast sandwich) and city beach was just ok…. We scheduled a tour on 2nd day to spend the day elsewhere.

The hotel has a heated roof top pool that is open until 10pm. Unfortunately the bar at the pool was still closed. The hotel is located near the pier in Long Beach and right in the middle of the outlet shopping mall - that was a welcomed surprise for us :) plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around - although not the best ones :)

breakfast is a la carte and really really expensive for what you get. I highly recommend eating out.

We were able to pay a nominal fee and check in early to our room We had a great view and could see the bridge lights. We walked over to the harbor area and had a great lunch and then booked a harbor tour. We didn't swim but went up to the rooftop pool and the views are amazing!

We liked everything and will be staying here again next time we are in the area.
