Location was great! Great value for the price and staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location was excellent for our long weekend stay and getting to Catalina Island and the LB Aquarium. It was easy to get to restaurants in LB and drive back and forth to LAX. Breakfast was full of many of the "regulars" but had a few surprises with the quiches, egg-muffin-cheese sandwiches. The area was clean and well attended by staff and large, plenty of room to select your foods. Very pleasant. Ice water was always available in the lobby.

Our stay was very pleasant with the exception of the "protests" which started 2 nights, mid evening and lasted into the later night. The Residence Inn is not to blame for this unfortunate happening.

The location of the hotel is awesome. it’s more isolated away from the noise of the city. Our suite felt like home away from home.

The only thing that would improve the property is a restaurant, for food any time of day. The breakfast was top notch

Awkward getting to the entrance, on the other side of the waterway from the main downtown area where all the restaurants are located. Hallways and floor areas around the elevator dirty. I feel this property was over priced, having stayed at many Residence Inn's across the country, Boston, NYC, etc. Missing amenities like hand lotion, waste basket in bathroom, etc. Parking fees were additional and high for the middle of nowhere.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It's probably the best front desk experience I have had because of Natalie. Room had a great layout, which provided lots of space, and an in-room ice maker was amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom was a bit small, and when requesting a later checkout, we were going to get charged by the hour. Sometimes, after a great stay or weekend, you just need a little more time.

The breakfast had an enjoyable variety of food for adults and children. The breakfast staff were very friendly and hospitable. All the staff was friendly during check-in and check-out.

The air conditioner was very loud in the room we stayed in. Not sure if it is like that in every room, but it would wake us up every time the air conditioner went on, which was unfortunate in getting a good consistent night’s sleep. The breakfast should stay open for another hour for those who like to sleep in. $35 a night parking is a lot considering the room rate plus tax.

The location is great! It's right up by the water across from the Pike and there's a walkway you can take to the Queen Mary area. The staff is really friendly and accommodating and this was the first time I ever saw a hotel's continental breakfast have soy milk!!! Even a lactose intolerant like me could enjoy a cereal. There's a gym and a pool which were both really nice. The beds were really soft and comfortable. The 5-guest suites are particularly comfortable, almost like a small apartment. Definitely would stay here again!

Everything was perfect, the only dislikable thing I can think of is the parking lot being a bit on the small side.

I love the view and location. It’s a nice clean hotel and the staff are wonderful.

I don’t know if it had to do with being on the 10th floor but it took about half an hour for the shower to get hot. Hot water did not automatically come out from the shower.

Breakfast was good "EXCEPT " for allowing dogs in the food areas. There were (4) different guest with their dogs and a few customers told them to keep their pets from sniffing, touching their legs.

Someone's dog shit in the elevator and I notified the front desk. I will consider NOT staying in this hotel on our next cruise. Very sad.
