The hotel is in a fantastic location near a stunning beach. We had use of beach equipment and bikes which was fantastic, we rode to Venice beach all along the coast it was wonderful. Plenty of shops/bars and restaurants in walking distance and a bus stop outside which can take you further if needed for just $2 each.

We didn’t have enough kitchen equipment for all of us which made it difficult at meal times but the staff provided us with extra so was fine by day 2.

All the staff including the cleaning staff were AMAZING. They all go out of their way to accommodate each and every guest with their needs. I read the reviews but until you experience how wonderful they are, it was so lovely to experience this myself. The pool was so clean and always access to clean pool towels and equipment. I asked so many questions and they were so helpful about the area.

My room was quiet but a little too dark for me, the windows were not clean and not really enough natural light. I stayed 4 nights but felt a bit low with the room lacking enough natural light in that particular room.

There are about 7 buildings. Our room was on a busy street and yet it was quiet with the sliding doors closed. It was fun to people watch. And it had a view of the ocean. Room 107. Clean. Comfy. Other family members were next door. And others in a 2 bedroom suite. Everyone was happy. The pool was delicious. And everyone who worked there was nice Especially Tequila.

The room was a bit small but this is a minor thing. It was big enough for the two of us.

Ocean view! Exceptional staff and loans of beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, bikes, even toys & basketballs. Staff said pool is heated year-round, definitely a nice feature.

Rooms are very modest -- hard to wrap your brain around the price of a basic beach hotel these days -- stained carpeting, just OK bathroom. Obviously you're paying for location, not facilities. Balcony over busy street.

I loved the location , the beach my decor, the bed was very comfy, nice shower, friendly staff.

Old, creeky, you can hear all the people on top floor, the cleaning staff were so loud in the morning and you can hear everything so I’m guessing very thin doors. Building is in need of a slight remodel it was on the older side when you look at the details but overall a decent place right by the beach.

The location was good, close to Roscans, and about a mile to Manhattan Beach pier area. Views from room to the beach were good and liked the small balcony. The shower and good hot water.

The room door didn’t lock really great from outside the room. It would have been nice to lock the deadbolt from outside. It was hard to get hot water from the sink.

Special dedication to the staff, they were all so great, helpful and make you feel welcome ! Thanks again very much for your help during the stay. I also liked the ocean view, the free bikes. The room was also modern and pretty inside.

2 minors things: - The fact we had to give the bike back at the end of each day, could be nice to be able to keep it later in the night for being able to comeback from Manhattan centre or Hermosa after midnight, which lead to my second minor thing. - Location is a little bit too far from Manhattan centre.

The location and proximity to the beach was amazing, the neighborhood felt safe and had little restaurants and a small market across the street. The voew was amazing!!!!

The extremely low water pressure in the shower was the only thing that was bad about this place, and that you had to pay $25 a night to park your vehicle in their parking spots.

The location is fantastic. Away from the hubbub of the pier and beach but just blocks when you want to hit the Strand. We parked the car and biked or walked to breakfast cafes and dinner spot. Loved the market across the street too. We had a fantastic view and a fun little balcony to chill on.

The facilities are clean but a little outdated. We didn't mind that but keep in mind you're paying for the location and views and beach vibes.
