the staff was polite and accommodating. The bath products are very nice and spa quality. The beds are VERY comfy, I have a Purple mattress at home and often struggle with hotel beds. I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable feel asleep and woke up without any stiffness. Hotel close to all the beaches in either direction. Ubers are readily available. LAX is less than 10 minutes (even with the traffic). There is retail shopping, restaurants, entertainment across the boulevard (including grocery & CVS Pharmacy). Plus lot's of other activities near the beaches. They also have bicycles!

the hot tub needs to be much hotter.

Calm atmosphere, friendly staff, clean bedrooms that are modern enough, close to Manhattan village shopping area and restaurants, it is a 25-30 min walk to Manhattan beach main area but it is a nice walk!

Paying for parking on the hotel at $25 a night despite the fact that we parked ourselves. I know this is more of a US thing but as we’re from the UK and don’t have this I find it so hard to justify. Valet option is simply not needed at all for a small and easy to navigate car park, just money for nothing.

The rooms are bright and a decent size. Its easy to get to Downtown Manhattan Beach either by car or walking and the overnight valet charge for a car is only USD25.

The water pressure in the shower could have been better however this is very minor and nothing springs to mind that I did not like.

Beds very comfortable, you can use the computers in the business centre for free, the hotel is in a nice area and in a location which is safe. The beach is 1.5 miles away.

The food in the restaurant was not good. The deep fried fish was mostly thick batter and there was very little fish inside it. The calamari was disappointing, as was the phili cheese steak, which had no cheese.

Nicely decorated rooms, fruit infused water at the reception area, location. Comfy bath robe.

Enforced valet parking (25$ overnight) - might have been mentioned in the reservation details, not sure. No fan in the bathroom (or we were not able to turn it on if it’s there). Very slow elevator.

IT system maintenance prevented us and other guests from getting into our rooms for more than an hour. Hotel staff did their best to make it up to us, which we appreciated.

Second time i stayed here and I'd love more time to sit in the garden or use the pool. Record players in the room is a great feature and the overall decor and design aesthetic is really good!

The avocado toast for breakfast was more like avocado bread and $18 for this i feel is steep. Also its $25 to park and then its a valet service too. I didn't tip as feel this should be part of the parking charge.

Well, we come to The Belamar Hotel Manhattan Beach , every year. it is our favorite place to be , we love the room , the restaurant ,and we have our favorite MOSO , Antonio , wonderful serves ,Is a pleasure to talk with Antonio . Thank you for All that you do .

Is ALL, just perfect .

The staff was incredibly friendly, we felt so welcomed. The bed was comfortable, the theme of the hotel was fun. The pool area was quiet and peaceful.

the staff were extremely professional and nice. the room was very large and clean. hotel is in a nice area and felt very safe. it’s across Manhattan village for restaurants or quick shopping (not too many stores) and a 30-40 minute walk to manhattan beach which is great. roughly 15 min drive to LAX airport.

$100 incidental per night you stay
