The location was perfect for Easter weekend -- right in the middle of the action with all the special events happening in town. My single-bed room and its view were fantastic. Great wi-fi. Lots of plugs for electronic devices. Handy little fridge. Nice warm shower with good water pressure. Despite the busy weekend, surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night. Bautzen is beautiful and magical -- a hidden gem (at least to international travellers, I think). And a special thank you for the delicious Bautzen mustard. :)

Although I loved my room and have absolutely no complaints about that, there weren't really any facilities outside the room, and the spaces felt dark and empty. The paid breakfast was in another building outside the hotel and for limited hours, so I declined to have it. If you're looking for a place with a cool vibe, to hang out and make friends at, look elsewhere. If you're hoping for a pretty, quiet, and comfortable room, this is the place.

Great location right in the center of the old town. The hotel is located in a charming old townhouse. The interior is also charming and old-fashioned, while offering modern comforts. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very specific to my experience, but the duvet was too small for the bed (room 11). WiFi is not the strongest in every room (probably due to the thick stone walls), but definitely still good enough to work with.

Amazing boutique hotel in the center of Bautzen. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. We appreciated a lot the small presents from the owners (a bottle of local beer and some mustard). Fantastic location in the center of the town, right next to a delicious mustard restaurant. Very friendly and helpful lady at the reception. We loved this place and are planning to be back.

Small town with many options for dinner. The suite was phenomenal in terms of space, comfort, location and view. Many historical things to do and learn about. Great place for a slow and laid back break from the city. Also the locals where super friendly in helping us get to the Dinosaur park using the public transport. Breakfast was scrumptious and the venue was super fancy and staff friendly.

The stairs to the suite after a long day of walking was not the best. We didn't have towels which was a bit odd.

Wasn't super easy to reach the hotel after 18:00 - the correct phone number is present in the emails, not on Booking. Also Google maps brings you to a different hotel nearby, so it was all too confusing given that there is no parking on the streets.

Good deco and the lady in reception is very helpful and kind heart although she can’t speak English but thanks to the google translate. The breakfast is about 4 mins walk, different chives and the dinnerware very delicate. Staffs are always smile.

1, need help to carry big luggage to the room. No elevator. 2, flies are a bit annoying.

Cozy rooms with tasteful interior, everything we needed was there (water kettle, shower gel and shampoo, hair dryer, tea, even an umbrella!). Facilities were clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was in a different building, but not far away and a great, fresh selection. Perfect for a couple's get-away.

For a longer stay, the fridge and kettle placed in the wardrobe would not be ideal.

An unusual and interesting historical building and hotel interior. Great location. Friendly staff. Welcome gifts from local producers which made it easy to choose souvenirs when returning home.

An outstanding location for exploring Bautzen, right in the heart of the old town - just beautiful , easy to walk around the old town and town walls, down to the river. Lots of great choices for breakfast and served in a lovely building. Close to great restaurants for dinner. The doona on the bed was wonderful!

This accommodation is fantastic! It's in an old building in the wonderful historic city centre, close to all the main attractions. The room is beautiful and comfortable. The host is very kind and helpful.
