Lovely quiet oasis from the surrounding busy area. Huge bedroom. We had kingsize with a patio/ Lakce view. Good range for breakfast although the juice drinks were watery. The lunch was fabulous quality. Staff friendly and very helpful. It's 20 mins taxi into the town centre. The centre was tanned with thousands of teen school kids at 7pm! Not sure that's worth the trip as the hotel food was fab. Beautiful pools, adult and children ones. There's daily entertainment for children, plus table tennis, volley ball net, etc. We went end May, was very quiet. Bed super comfy, fab showers. Perfect for relaxing! We did the dune buggying in Huacachina so stayed here as a base. Having been to the youthful noisey Huacachina, I'm so glad we stayed here!!

Wifi hit and miss in the rooms.

The pool slide was a hit for my 7 year old. The staff also tried to put together some activities during the day like archery, games, dancing, etc. The staff let us check in early, which was a god sent after traveling for 13 hours on a bus from Arequipa. There are so many things for kids, there's horseback ridding. All types of sports and biking, multiple pools. The staff was amazing, Luis 1, 2, and 3 work at the restaurant and bars. The spa and gym are also in great step, and the spa is reasonably priced. The al a cart menu is well seasoned and has a decent spread. It is a small resort, so anything more than 3 nights will probably get monotonous.

The breakfast buffet gets tired real fast. It's juice, bread, bacon, and omelets. There's not one rotating station, it's pretty much rinse repeat.

All was great! They catered to us especially with the food since we are vegetarian.

Reminder - get ur own toothbrush and toothpaste No body & hand creams - bring ur own No kettles in the rooms but you can ask for a hot flask No irons in the rooms- at a fee you can get ur clothes ironed Pools & spas open only after 10 it’s a shame should be earlier

if you plan on relaxing this is the place to be! many pools and activities to keep the kids busy (this place is very family oriented!!), they try to keep a divide between adults and kids. hotel is very clean. ac and heating is great! a lot of staff on the site which means you never have to look too hard to get some help! overall if you’re looking for a good time I would 100% recommend Las Dunas. if you want this as your base to visit Ica and surroundings: it’s a bit out of the way but the safe neighborhood really is an added bonus!

the wifi isn’t great. we told them our unit didn’t have wifi and they just told us to log into another rooms wifi. We were left without wifi at many moments. Walls are thin and no window in the bathroom so you can hear what’s happening outside (very common but a bit unexpected from a luxury resort). prices on site reflect North American prices.

This hotel has a large central green yard, a lake surrounding the accommodation, and another large green place with horses, ducks, and other animals. Above all, the three swimming pools are the best for relaxation. It's like a hotel in Cancun, Mexico. I took a walk around the hotel in the morning, and the various themed places were fantastic. I'm gonna choose this hotel again when I need to recharge my tired mind and body.

When we booked the hotel, we hadn’t realised it was a family resort. At first we were a bit shocked, but it turned out to be a great place! Nice rooms, with good beds and shower. Even een small balcony. Very nice resort facilities - clearly focused on families with kids but we didn’t feel out of our comfort zone (it was still pretty quiet, so things may be diferent in the high season?). As we had been travelling from one place to the other, this was a welcome and relaxed place.

An oasis of green with beautiful grounds, buildings and pools. Staff were very friendly , food was good. Breakfast was huge with biggest choice yet! In Peru!

We were only there for 24 hours and loved it but some might not like the noisy entertainment throughout the day around one of the pools, with music, dancing and exercise . However as there was a choice of pools it wasn’t an issue. It is pricey but you get what you pay for!

The location was great for the sand buggy and sand boarding, about 20 mins from the spot. The hotel is very comfortable, the staff is super friendly, a lot of activities in terms of sports and games, the overall stay was great! The food is so good too!

I only wish there were more options for breakfast, aside from that everything was good. The pillows were a tad uncomfortable but manageable.

The hotel was great! We loved the food at the restaurant. The price includes a breakfast buffet, which, although small, is quite good. It offers fresh bread, fruits, juices, and eggs. There are a couple of pools and a slide. The hotel is well-maintained overall, and the staff is very friendly.

Not to blame the hotel, but there are a lot of mosquitoes in the afternoon, so make sure to bring your mosquito repellent.

An old timey experience. Pretty much out of the eighties/nineties, but still very good. We loved the multiple poopls and activities, and we had to book last notice because of a mishap at another place. Las Dunas helped us get a solution.

Our room, with every amenity and a lovely porch, was nonetheless dated and sparsely decorated. Felt out of joint with the rest of the experience.
