The location was very convenient as were just transiting for one night - very easy off the highway and easy to get back on. There is a beautiful park right in front of the hotel and also a food court with some great options although we opted for the seafood restaurant a short walk away on the main highway. There were lots of other options for restaurants nearby. The room was very clean and the beds were comfy. The service was also great. I used the free laundromat on the first floor which was quick and easy (and unexpectedly free!). The pool area was also nice although the water was quite cold.

There were a lot of oil industry workers staying at the hotel and although it didn't really bother us, the breakfast was served canteen style, not buffet. As we were still getting acquainted with the different foods, we didn't make the most of it although the service was very good and staff super helpful. The food we had was very good but would have liked to have tried some of the other hot food without queueing each time.

Place is recovering from pandemic, hotel management is investing in maintenance and renovation works.
