We stayed here for a total of three nights. The hotel is beautiful, with lovely rooms and superb ambiance and decor. The staff is incredibly friendly that truly made the difference. The beds were heavenly, and the chocolates every evening were a delightful touch. The free shuttle to the temple is also a great perk! And to top it all off, there’s an included afternoon tea at 4:00 PM. We were lucky that it rained once, because then the spot for afternoon tea, overlooking a rice field on the property, was absolutely phenomenal. There’s plenty to do for the kids as well a cool playground, animals, and a tennis/basketball court. In short, highly recommended!

The hotel is are very comfortable and stylish, staff is amazing and took really great care of us, including a welcome attention for my wife’s birthday. Breakfast is great as is the pool and which hotel has its own charming amusement park… amazing! Make sure you book the complimentary shuttle to Enam Langit upfront to view the Borobodur sunrise (note that taking breakfast there is mandatory with an extra charge)

Everything was exceptional, but the quality of the food and spa was a tad below expectation compared to other experiences we had in Java.

A Wonderful Stay Very cosy and clean hotel. The front desk staff were always helpful and ready to assist with anything. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great variety. The pool was lovely, and the location is ideal—just 10 minutes from the temple. The hotel is set within a large park, perfect for familie with kids(was not my case), with great spots for children: a mini zoo, basketball and badminton courts, a playroom, and more. Don’t miss the Patio Restaurant – it was absolutely magical!

Wonderful trip to just relax and get away from it all. Was here for 3 days, 2 nights and feel like it wasn't enough. The food was amazing with picturesque views, the room and bed was so comfortable, and the staff were all so incredibly kind and helpful! Special mention for the spa, so fantastic we went all 3 days! Also recommend going to their sunrise resto on top of a hill for the great views.

Amazing hotel with a top service level and an heavenly rice field view. Very friendly helpful geniune staff! Wow! The Steak and the Lava CAKE was just TOP! I asked to grill my meat ‘saignant’/medium rare & it was just perfect! Thank you for the great experience! Well deserved 5/5! The breakfast was extended and delicious. The tea break was very well organised. Amazing rooms as well. We also liked the authenticity of the Hotel. Very local support and local feeling.

Pleasant room, comfortable bathroom, nice view on the swimming pool and vegetation. The welcome drink and massage. The support of the staff to schedule activities. We really enjoyed the time making Jamu with our lovely teacher. The strong massages were appreciated. We enjoyed dinner at the lounge terrace. And we completely loved the bike tout of surroundings on the monday morning: a great memory as the Jamu lesson. We saw beautiful fields, crossed lively villages with kids in the school courts and drank coconut water along the way.

This Hotel is pure perfection. From check in to check out it was a wonderful experience, and we do not believe it can get any better than this. Staff is highly competent, the rooms and the whole building are just stunningly beautiful, and if you want to see more, explore the outside... there is so much to see. We especially liked the afternoon tea, where you could sit at the rooftop bar and completely unwind. But we also enjoyed the food and drinks in the restaurant, the view from our balcony, the spa and gym...We already dream of coming back here one day!

The Plataran Borobudur is perfect the way it is. If we have a suggestion, it is nothing more than that: We felt breakfast was not 100% up to the standard of the rest of the hotel, not in terms of quality or quantity, those were great. But the atmosphere is very busy, with not much space and people walking around your table to get to the buffet all the time. Putting the foodstalls literally around the tables makes it impossible to find a quiet table, even outside. We were very happy when the - again most helpful and professional - staff brought us a table from the pool, so we could sit in the pool are. Again: High standard of solving a tiny problem. :-)

The service from the staff was impeccable from the moment we walked into the lobby. They were warm and always attentive. We ordered room service and ate at the restaurant and the food was always delicious! The afternoon tea was a nice treat with a beautiful view of the sunset. We loved that there was a water machine in our room in addition to bottled water. Everything was perfect.

- The service is uber excellent. All staffs are very responsive to your needs and friendly, - Hotel design is art déco and full of interesting details with view to serene paddy field, - If you are staying for the Borobudur Marathon, they provide free shuttle vv - The masseurs at the spa know their stuffs. Recommended experience - Minibar is inclusive of the room charge and refillable

- The floor is not carpeted and though beautifully tiled, the noise of luggages, carts and even people walking in the hallway can be noisily heard, - The food is a mix of hit and miss. Ayam hutan kota (signature dish) is not apetizing but the daun pepaya with teri is good. The iga kecombrang is just so so and overall all food are pricey for the quality - Buffet can be better. For 250k++, there should be more options and/or better quality

We loved the serenity of the location. The staff were helpful and very hospitable. Breakfast is good and also the afternoon teas.

There should be more curated free activities for guests like village cultural walks, daily sunrise yoga or meditation . I booked for a yoga class and found out that it was not daily.
