The hotel is very comfortable, staff were helpful, and it was the first and only place one could get by with a card, for which I was grateful. The pool is very nice, food was very tasty and varied. There are covered parking spaces, which was great. The bar was great, playing oldies music, we kinda got stuck in there for a while. One can book Sahara trips in the lobby.

The hotel does show some signs of fatigue, the tv plug wasn't working, so you had to unplug the fridge if you wanted to watch something. The bathroom has holders for toothbrush glasses, but has no glasses, and our booking said pool view room, which it wasn't. These aren't too bothersome things, and didn't take away from our experience.

I read reviews that said the decor was outdated and the wifi was terrible. But renovating costs money. I was fine with the decor because I prefer it to paying more for the room. The pool was amazing. I swam laps for a half hour and had the whole pool to myself. Regarding the wifi, in the lobby it was fine. Having wifi in the rooms would be ideal, but again, I'd rather keep the price economical. The breakfast buffet was great.

Having to hang out in the lobby to use wifi. And I prefer to live closer to town. I ended up taking a taxi to the louage station because it's 2 miles away. But I walked all day the first day.

Everything the staff very friendly food very nice Very welcoming the best place hotel I ever stayed I stayed in Mouradi hamam Bourguiba it’s bad experiences. I hope the owners and management send their other staff for experience to DOUZ TO GET EXPERIENCE. Nadra the housekeeping very nice and friendly also Yosra in reception very good . Honestly if I can give 1 millions star I will give instead of 5.

After a long day travel the pool was so welcoming. Staff 9n check in super friendly, lobby beautiful.

Buffet dinner and breakfast were poor, I am not comparing to my resort in sousse, I travel a lot and this hotel ranks low in extent and quality of the buffet offered

We liked that property is located in the vicinity of the desert so it was easy to start with the tours early in the morning. The staff is nice and the breakfast is plentiful.

Some facilities are not renovated in quite some time - like hammam, but it is still decent for relax.

Very friendly staff and good location. Large room and beautiful surroundings. A large pool and beautiful lighting at night. The hotel staff was very helpful organising a desert tour for us. The hotel has a souvenir shop and a very friendly 'resident cat'.

The choice of food was poor and we could not choose dishes for dinner. It was set menu although the kitchen staff provided extra dishes for free. It would have been nicer to have a la carte menu where guests could choose what they want to eat.

Very reasonably priced, the room rate included dinner and breakfast. There was quite nice pool area and spa services. We visited hammam and it was quite an experience. Also there is nice lobby bar unlike some Tunisian hotels, where bar area is strictly hidden and looks like dump.

The reception hall and courtyard was quite luxurious and well designed, probably renovated. Rooms are old and little run down.

This is our 5th time of staying here - as usual we were not disappointed. Had a great time. Fantastic staff, very attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Good selection of food at all mealtimes. Fabulous pool area. Lovely bedroom, very clean, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. All areas of the hotel very clean and well kept. Douz and surrounding areas have so much to offer. Wonderful, magical place.

There is nothing that we didnt like. Everything was great.

When we arrived, we had no towels in the room. there is no WiFi in the rooms, only in the lobby. they use single use cups for coffee/tea at breakfast, feels weird. Hotel is a bit outdated but still okay. All 4 star hotels in Douz are very far from the center, so you always need a taxi if you want to go somewhere else.

The hotel is at the gate of the desert. You can book desert activities easily through their reception. The pool is open till late so it’s nice to swim there and cool down. Interestingly we didn’t even use AC at night because there room is cool enough. We also booked spa but it’s very mediocre. I wouldn’t recommend because it’s not worth the money

Meal time is quite brief although it gives a lot options
