One of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed for a holiday. The B&B is incredibly well located, with beautiful flowers and plants all around the property. The swimming pool is also very nice and spacious. There is also a stunning outdoor kitchen that we were allowed to use. With the setting sun in the background, this truly was a wonderful experience. The host, Matteo, was incredibly kind. He gave us excellent tips for visiting sights and restaurants, but we also asked him other questions and he always responded immediately. Our cottage was kept very clean during our stay. The breakfast was very diverse, and almost everything was homemade. We would definitely come back again and would recommend this place to everyone!

There was nothing that could have been improved.

Everything about Tenuta Calitre is perfect. From the food to the location to the setting to the staff, and everything in between. Matteo and his team somehow manage to strike the unique balance between making guests feel at home and keeping everything in perfect order. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable, stunning holiday setting, with easy access to some of the most beautiful spots in La Puglia. We will definitely come back.

Nothing—only that our stay (9 days) should have been longer.

This is a wonderful place and a large part of what makes it so wonderful is the owner, Matteo. He goes above and beyond to help his guests and make their stay as perfect as possible. We stayed in the new annex, it's just beautiful with mellow Puglian stone and gorgeous tiles. Both the bedroom and bathroom were so spacious. It is immersed in the countryside so no noise at night. And oh the breakfast! Probably the best we have ever had in Italy..mostly homemade...yoghurt, marmalade, bread and Matteo's mother's cakes which were out of this world, thank you Mamma! We loved our 2 night stay here and Matteo organised an itinerary for us so we could really enjoy the wonderful amenities this part of Salento has to offer. Grazie mille Matteo!

Nothing, it's perfect

We loved everything about this place, it was literally perfect: Matteo was the best host, the place was beautiful, the rooms spacious, modern, clean, the bed big and extremely comfortable, the breakfast fresh with many options (ham, eggs, focaccia, joghurt, fruit, cakes, great coffee). Cats and dogs roaming around like in a zoo. It felt like in heaven, so chill. It was probably our favourite B&B ever. Thank you so much Matteo!

Loved everything, I literally can't say one bad thing

I’d like to praise Matteo & Giulia for their hospitality. This place is incredible and shows how much love and effort they put into building it. Matteo gave us useful information and travel tips. Tenuta Calitre is peaceful, clean and close to beautiful beaches. I enjoyed home made cakes for breakfast, quality coffee and traditional dinner with wine. Pool offers nice refreshment during hot days. Rooms are nice, comfortable and always clean. And of course - friendly animals 🙂

Nothing, absolutely nothing. We stayed 2 nights, but I would recommed more.

I can't recommend this place enough—it's beyond a perfect 10/10! Martal, the host, was incredibly accommodating, warm, and full of joy. One evening, when the rain kept us from going out for dinner, he graciously cooked us a delicious meal that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our entire stay was fantastic. The accommodations were spotless and comfortable, and the surrounding scenery was absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was a true highlight, featuring delicious homemade options. We also loved taking a stroll around the farm, where we met Lucy, the sweet and friendly donkey. She’s always eager to mingle and made our visit even more memorable.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The accommodation was very clean and beautifully designed. It was less than a 15-minute drive to several beaches in the area (or 5 mins to Torre Dell’Orso), and the Grotta del Poesia and Torre Sant’Andrea were less than 10 minutes away. The owner, Matteo, was fantastic—his laugh is contagious, he’s very responsive, and always super willing to help out! The breakfast was also delicious, featuring several homemade goods and amazing coffee, we felt very spoilt! We also enjoyed the animals on the property, especially the donkey, dog, and cats.

Only wished we stayed here longer!

Staying here was our best choice and an amazing experience! The host was incredibly welcoming with a fantastic vibe. During breakfast, the atmosphere was delightful with great music, excellent coffee, delicious eggs, the homemade bread and sweets! The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained daily, and the surroundings were green oasis with clean pool. Very peaceful, relaxing quiet place. Matteo provided explanations and recommendations for dining options, attractions to visit, and beaches to explore. His restaurant recommendations were spot on, offering unreal dining experiences. But above all, Matteo and his well maintained place were simply outstanding.

Loved everything....beautiful room, very private and quiet, super big super comfy bed, lovely bathroom, having a sofa was great. Pool was pristine clean, not cold...and yay, still open early October. Easy to find property and plenty of parking right by room. Amazing choice for breakfast, lovely fresh fruits and delicious cakes made by Matteo's mother. Matteo is a brilliant host and made our stay extra special. Great local tips and suggestions, thanks for everything Matteo!

Only that I'll have to walk a 100km to wear off mummas delicious cakes that I ate too much of!!

Tenuta Calitre is pure magic. From the peaceful surroundings to the beautifully kept grounds, everything is done with so much care.
