The place had been really thoughtfully designed, it was beautiful, rustically tasteful and comfortable. The pool was so peaceful and relaxing and the staff were extremely pleasant and attentive - by far the most welcoming staff of any of the 4 places we stayed in Puglia. We spent much more time than planned just chilling there simply because it was so enjoyable to do so! The breakfast was very good for our particular tastes. Very home-grown, home-made feel to the cakes, breads and salads provided. There were boiled eggs and really lovely jams. They offered cooked options for an extra price but we didn't feel we needed any.

Nothing about the actual place, which was relaxing and delightful in every way. Compared to other places we stayed though, the location was not fabulous. The nearby town of Torre dell'Orso was a fairly modern beach town. There are some stunning stretches of coast line within a few kms though and only a 20 min drive to either Lecce or Otranto, both of which are stunning places to visit.

The location is suited outside of Torre dell’Orso, away from the crowded center but still only a few minutes drive to town. A very nice and cosy swimming pool to relax, surrounded by staff who is very helpfull, kind and always ready for any suggestions and advise about any questions you have: a good restaurant nearby, a more specific drink you want,… Always served with a smile on their face! The rooms are not so big and luxury, but just what you need! A big plus is the smegg fridge in the room, which keeps all your personal drinks and goods real cold compared to the smaller mini bars in most hotels which don’t even cool your stuff.

Don’t book this stay if you require music around the pool. Something we didn’t experience as negative tbh!

The room was very comfortable and air conditioned with a large bathroom. The breakfast was really lovely served beside the pool. The staff are fantastic, always happy to help no matter the request. As someone who doesn't speak Italian, the English of the staff was really great. Gaia at the front desk gave us a whatsapp number to message to ask for bikes, scooters or a late check out. We had a hiccup with the busses back to lecce and even after we checked out, Gaia, was happy to assist us booking a shuttle to lecce. They let us back into the facility and gave us water and foccacia while we waited. Very satisfied with our stay would recommend.

The outside & entrance are unimpressive but once inside, the beautiful Masseria/ Borgo opens up its delights Beautiful pool area and poolside bar with great service The family room had a large fridge/ freezer - and useful cooking equipment The breakfast (& the cappuccinos) was varied and delicious

Building work going on next door which was us up early on the family room side of the Borgo. The skylight in the family room also woke me & my (light sensitive) daughter up early. We moved across to 2 other rooms on the other side of the pool area - and these rooms were dark and quiet - and we slept so well.

Absolutely everything. The hospitality of the staff, the location, the pool which is like a calm oasis and the quality of the breakfast. This hotel is punching above its weight as a '3 star' hotel. They offer a rental bike for 5 euros for half a day and 10 euros for the entire day. We did this every day to go to the beach, which is only 10-15 mins bike ride away. This place felt like paradise in the middle of the height of Puglian summer :).

10/10 pool and outdoor area. Room was spotless, a very comfortable bed and gorgeous terrace. Beautiful masseria, felt secure and relaxed. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, without being overbearing.

The room with kitchenette was lacking the basics e.g. sharp knife, cheese grater. It would have been good to have been provided with salt, pepper & olive oil as basics.

Perfect idyll,very nice atmosphere. The staff is amazing,everybody is making their best to have a perfect time and enjoy the stay. Kind and empathetic people . The pool is beautiful,the hotel style is unique. Nice breakfast.

It was some construction in the neighbourhood,which was unfortunately unpleasant 7 o’clock in the morning.

Lots of works happening outside so quite noisy, also walls were very thin so not for light sleepers.. we also had room next to household room and they started making lots of noise 7am which was annoying when on holiday.

Beautiful and well maintained property. Once inside the gates it was a perfect oasis. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and the bar around the pool very handy.

Not so much about the property but surrounding area was run down.

The property feels like a farm fairytale, where every detail is thought-through in order to strike the perfect balance between a traditional Masseria and modern hospitality.

I really enjoyed everything. But, if there was one thing I believe could improve was the shower. I wish it was stronger.
