The room was quite clean and comfortable, the bed was also super comfortable and firm. The bathroom was very clean and neat and the shower water was strong and nice warm. There were plenty of parking places available inside a very private and safe area. The receptionist was beyond kind and helpful and accompanied us all the way to the parking area and even took the effort to move another smaller car to better accommodate ours, which was bigger and more loaded. He also gave us recommendations for both dinner and breakfast places which we accepted to our satisfaction, since there is no food service in the hotel.

There was one only central light in the bedroom (so, no table lamps), which makes the environment a bit unpleasant, however, it was only when we were about to leave next day that we noticed a small poster by the reception office stating that guests were welcomed to ask for extra table lights should they need one, but it was already too late... maybe those small posters could be actually placed INSIDE the rooms??

I really can't understand why this hotel has only 1 star. It's in many ways better than most 3 star hotels I've seen so far. It has luxurious Spanish colonial lobby. Rooms are big enough and so is the bathroom. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is good; just next to few really good restaurants and 10 minutes walk from main plaza. And most of all, it's perfect for travelers. Easy to access with car and this big private parking lot. It's secured by walls from all directions and the gate was big enough to fit my car with motorcycle trailer. It exceeded my expectations in many ways.

There was no hairdryer in a room, but I got it from reception. It was a bit cold (April), but I left the air condition running and it was fine.

Super clean, super friendly personell, location central, private parking available, everything there that you need, furnishings not super modern but everything is well taken care of and clean
