The hotel is very easy to find and there is free parking all around the hotel, as well as a free car park right outside (if you can find a space. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful and the hotel itself is bright and airy, with a lovely boutique/gift shop in the foyer. The staff are only there from 8am-8pm but there is a card entry system on the front door. The room was not as big as it appeared in the photos but the beds and pillows were good and the bathroom had a very good walk-in shower. The aircon worked well and the room had good soundproofing from external noise but there was quite a bit of noise from wardrobe doors banging, light switches turning on and off etc. The location is good - about a 10-minute walk from Plaza Mayor. The included breakfast was fantastic and served in a beautiful dining room, with lovely personal touches. There was a good choice of breakfast options.

A fridge in the room would be good, even if only to keep water in, especially when the temperatures outside are so high. Also the slightly irritating internal noise.

Excellent service especially from the lady on reception with advice on eating etc. Also parking was convenient just around the corner to a secure garage although there was a limited number of spaces but a public car park immediately opposite. Very chic interior and large breakfast area. We were "warned" that an orchestra would be performing that night in the road outside so there would be some noise! turns out it was a Rock Band that finished at 2am!! gotta laugh think it was lost in translation!!!!. No Problemo.

Sparklingly clean bathroom and bedroom. Plenty of space. Excellent breakfast. Pre-booked car parking space in the hotel's car park for only seven cars. Outside parking very busy.

Be aware that Zamoran's eat very late. Told cafes and restaurants in the main square reopen at 8pm for evening meals. Went to eat to find hundreds of people promenading round or enjoying drinks. Then we noticed no-one was eating. On enquiring no-one serves food before 9pm (this was a Saturday). With hundreds of people no doubt wanting serving goodness knows what time some people got their food.

Really beautiful and individual hotel. Everything was well cared for. The room was comfortable and the parking was free right outside the hotel. It was about a 10 minute walk from the centre where there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. The breakfast room was delightful and there was a selection of hot and cold food. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. There was a gift shop on site and a pleasant local bar next door.

Great location and breakfast. Classic old style hotel located just outside the old town walls. Parking available - but it was booked out. So luckily we were able to find free public parking just outside the hotel. Staff were great in providing info about Zamora, tapas bars etc. Breakfast was great and the staff were particularly good at refilling things as they were utilised. All in all it was a really nice place to stay

Only one power point over a small bedside table available to charge devices, which was limiting. No power point available at the desk provided in the room, which was the obvious place for chaging devices..

Great location very close to the old city. Although the outside is not very appealing, the common areas are quite sofisticated and inviting. Breakfast is very good. There is a free parking lot just in front of the hotel but you need some luck to find an available place..

The aircondining in the room was not strong enough, so it took ages to partly cool the room.. There is no refrigerator or miny bar in the room..

Very nice hotel. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was terrific, and there was tea and coffee available in the lounge during the day. Great location, about 3 minutes walk to Plaza Mayor. The town is very pretty. It was also very busy while we were there because there was a Cheese Festival taking place. We highly recommended this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

One minor gripe. The lounge closed early, and the rooms do not have a kettle. So no tea/coffee at night.

The room was clean and there was a window that propped open for air. The hotel itself was a 10 minute walk to the city center which was very nice. Breakfast included coffee, breads, meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, and pastries.

The location was a bit further of a walk from the train station than I realized (1 miles, about 25 minutes). Breakfast was very crowded when I went and they kept running out of milk for the coffee.

Breakfast in a beautiful breakfast room. Excellent breakfast included in price. Close to old town. Loved the tiny streets full of tapas bars - staff in hotel were very informative giving us a map and directions of where to eat! First visit to this town but will be back!!

We reserved private parking but we could have parked opposite the hotel in a public car park for free - will know for next time!

A small, well kept and centrally located boutique hotel. The centre of Zamora is a gentle 5 minute walk away. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Ares hotel has a co-located shop selling good quality leather bags, pottery, bedding and towels. The hotel and shop are excellent value for money. This was our 4th year staying at the hotel as we travelled across Spain. Strongly recommended.
