We loved the location, the accommodation is within easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bars etc. The accommodation was very clean, and comfortable enough for a 6 night stay. Great breakfast, with fresh bread delivered each morning. The bathroom and shower area was spacious…great water pressure too!!

Private parking! Clean. Location was near the pleasant pedestrian walkway “Le Voie Doux” which leads to the Marina and Harbor area. It was quiet at night. The homemade yogurt and jams they left for us in the fridge were of nice quality. WiFi worked.

We met Stéphane on arrival, for a brief introduction to the room. He told us they would be gone for our four-night stay, but their son would bring a loaf of bread every morning by 8-8:30. We were to make our own coffee, make our own breakfast with the bread, the pots of jams and packets of butter, and the bottled orange juice left for us, then wash our own dishes in the bathroom sink. We were told to not squash mosquitoes on the walls or ceilings but only use the electric fly swatter. We were warned to keep the only door closed or risk bugs in the room because there was no screen (he had removed an electric screen so guests would not be trapped in the room during a power outage). A/C was fixed at 24° C (76° F) and there was no fan. Only ventilation at night was through small bathroom window. Zero soundproofing. We could hear conversations, dishes clanking, chairs scraping, bathroom sounds, from the people in the house attached to our unit. Assumed they could hear us too! THE GREAT BREAD CONFLICT: When the first morning’s bread came, it was not a traditional baguette for tartine, but a cold white loaf with soft crust and very cold inside, obviously day-old or from a supermarket bakery and refrigerated. We only ate a tiny bit and set it aside. Did not complain, just hoped for better the next day. Someone came to clean our room while we were out, and saw we hadn’t eaten it, and left more bread of a different type, after we had eaten breakfast and left. On morning #2, no bread was delivered. At 9 am, after we finished our yogurts and orange juice, plus cereal and melon we provided for ourselves, I decided boldly to send a message to the absent owner to let them know that no bread had been delivered by their son, and to please not bring bread at all on future mornings (it would go to waste).
