The Hawks's Nest Resort First of all I just want to review the place as if it was any other place. The room was really nice, very spacious and with a nice couch and coffee table where our family could sit and relax, the view from either bed or the couch was amazing with the ocean and the very well maintained and beautiful jungle flora in between. It was clean and honestly one of, if not the best place my family and I have ever stayed in South East Asia. Would recommend anyone to go here. Now I want to review the people who made this the best experience we've ever had hands down. The staff was so incredible pleasant and friendly to be around. We had the greatest days here and they made us feel like family. The guys and girls that worked in the restaurant and grounds all had an amazing way of making us feel at home. It was layed back but in a very polite and natural way. It seemed very clear to us that the people working there enjoyed what they were doing and also each others and the guests company. The manager Llya was so nice to be around and she made sure that we had the best possible stay ever. We can never really repay her for her outstanding service and friendly, inviting way of being. Thank you so much for everything Hawk's Nest we hope people will enjoy their stay at least half as much as we did, but really we know they will. Best regards from Denmark 🇩🇰

Beautiful location, with an excellent staff willing to help you with anything you need and serve great food. We stayed for three nights and were offered a free snorkeling trip on their boat, starting directly from the private beach. Robert and Freddy were super kind and took us to beautiful spots were we could explore the amazing sea life underwater. Whatever you need, everything is possible: we asked for a scooter to rent and immediately got a brand new one to explore the island (recommended!). When we left we needed an early boat, so they arranged a takeaway breakfast for us. Also a taxi was available whenever we needed. Driver Bayu took us everywhere we wanted, at any time. So in whole: please do yourself a favor and stay at Hawk’s Nest. Their lovely staff will take care of everything. PS: daily cleaning is on request only

The staff was super helpful and went out of their way to make or stay a memorable experience. Our room was huge and clean. The little island in front of the hotel offers great snorkeling opportunities during high tide. The views are stunning.

I had a very relaxed stay here, the rooms were clean, the on sight restaurant had nice food, and the facilities were great. They also have a canoe that you can use for free to paddle in the bay.

The location is a bit remote, which is also a plus at the same time

We had a great time 😻 The rooms are really clean and the resort restaurant is incredible. The establishment offers great excursions. The whole team welcomed us very well and as soon as we needed something they were available.

The free snorkeling trip on the resort's own boat was great. Quiet, secluded location with wildlife. If you want to be shut off from the world for a few days and lie in a hammock watching the monkeys go about their business, this is the place to be as it is well away from the busy areas in the island. They did my laundry for a very reasonable price and folded it beautifully! Strong WiFi in the rooms, comfortable bed and a nice balcony to sit out on.

It's a 20 minute journey to other popular resorts like Freddie's and Casa Nemo, so you will need to hire a motorbike, or at the very least have a regular taxi/tuk tuk driver to explore or eat out, which does start to add up. Breakfast options are limited and in small portions but as it's included it's to be expected. Dinner was OK but also quite limited. It comes at an additional cost. Stsff don't speak much English which is a downside for international tourists, but with Google Translate we got by and they were very attentive and friendly. I'm not sure the price justifies the overall experience and standard of facilities but it depends what sort of holiday you are after. If you are quite active it is probably not the right place.

Beautiful garden, lovely porch with hammock and seaview, shelves in the room (very rare in Indonesia), good pancakes. The breakfast was included although our booking did not show it.

Nobody on site knew more than a few english words. The staff is slow bordering on lazy. E.g. I stayed at the table in the restaurant after breakfast with my laptop, having pushed away the dishes. Nobody cleared the table. The lady having served breakfast sat three tables away concentrated on her smartphone. After an hour and hundreds of ants on the table I carried the dishes to the table in front of the kitchen. The smartphone lady did not even look up.

Breakfast not included, We must buy for breakfast, fortunatelly the price is cheap, and the taste is good enough.

There is no tv in the Deluxe Room. So is much be better, if the Resort provided the TV.
