Clean, quiet, good-sized room. Good location with a nice view of the river. Friendly desk staff cheerfully checked us in when we arrived a bit before posted check-in time. Good breakfast.

Was looking forward to a drink at the small hotel bar after a long drive but it didn't open until 5:30; really late for a Saturday at a conference center hotel. Sign on the shared river-side patio stated that you could only consumer adult beverages there if they'd been purchased at the hotel bar so couldn't enjoy our BYO stock either. Ended up at the excellent Drifter's Bar and Grille, an easy walk from the hotel, for drinks and dinner: opens at 4:00, highly recommend!

Our room overlooked the river and was just beautiful.

Beautiful view across the river to the Capitol. Very comfortable room. Breakfast was interesting - the breakfast room was being renovated, and the area they were using had a power cut. What was impressive was the attitude of staff; he helped us all stay positive and have fun with it! I will stay here again - hopefully with a good hot breakfast! 😉

the river front views were great even from a non-balcony room. the warm cookies downstairs daily were a highlight for my kids for sure. Dylan up front was very kind and helpful even during a super busy time for booking (bike week) breakfast was outstanding and we really enjoyed the pool !

The facility was very clean and in good repairs. Plenty of well lit parking. The room was spacious and comfortable. Outdoor seating was plenty to view the river, the Capitol and nature around. Breakfast was plenty.

It is a little ways from town but found two walking distance wonderful places to eat.

Location was excellent. I always look for cleanliness and this was excellent. Breakfast readiness and quality was excellent as well. Best biscuits ever. Tables were readily cleaned after guests left.

Our room was next to a generator or motor of some sort, screened off by a wooden fence. It was loud when it kicked in. Otherwise we loved the room and the view. No elevators.

We were travelling from Sioux Falls to Rapid City so the AmericInn in Fort Pierre was a great intermediate stop. The facilities were clean and modern and located on the waterfront of the Missouri River. We rented a room with two queen beds that were clean and comfortable. A nice self-serve breakfast with hot and cold items was included with the room. Coffee was available all day. There are many restaurants available in the Pierre area.

The exercise room was small with just a few items of equipment. I hoped to have some space for my daily physical therapy exercises but the space was inadequate.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Walking along the river behind the building with the dog was great. The bed was firm and really comfortable; it was one of the better night's sleep I've had in a hotel in a long time. It was quiet and clean.

Breakfast was okay. Not bad, but nothing exceptional.

I learned from another guest that they were offered for $10 more the river side. Which I would definitely paid. It was a little difficult to find way out to back patio especially when one person has difficulty in walking too far

The only thing I didn't like was having all my receipts thrown away when the serviced the room. Common sense should be don't throw thi gs away if they aren't in the trash...
