Hotel was great rooms were clean. Breakfast was really good.

Everything went great until we wanted to check out. We were staying at the hotel for a business trip. Our agency requires to get a printed receipt. We did book the hotel on Booking.com so i understand they do give a receipt, but our agency needed one from Ramkota. The gentleman that helped us was very rude and did not want to print us one saying he is not allowed too. He eventually did and took him 30 seconds to do it. The stay was great until we had to get a printed Receipt.

I didn’t eat breakfast there because I thought it was too expensive. Our room request for ground floor was honored, so I appreciated that because I use an oxygen concentrator at night which weighs 40 pounds.

I’d have liked to made coffee in the room , but basket was missing. At check in, the clerk explained that the $30 deposit for each night to pay for incidentals would be refunded when I checked out. That’s not true. Gentleman who checked me out said it could be 24 hours or longer before the refund is showing up.

It was conveniently situated to eateries and the river walk

The rooms are very difficult to find and there is no lift. It stated online that breakfast was included in the room rate when in fact we were told on the morning of our departure that it wasn’t. We were offered an insulting 3 dollars between us towards the cost of purchasing our own breakfast-needless to stay we found a suitable alternative outside the hotel.

Great food! Shout out to our server Jess. She was kind enough to give me one of her water enhancers ( watermelon)yum.Service fantastic from Jess and Trista! Trista made check in a breeze! The pool and hot tub were AMAZING and clean. Breakfast had alot of nice options. The rooms were spotless ,beds super comfortable and great water pressure for showers!!And they are pet friendly to! This will be our hotel moving forward, anytime we make a trek to Deadwood. This is an older hotel. So don't expect the "Ritz" but they are doing upgrades. These will take them some time. But you can tell everyone that works there ,cares! Says alot about this company.

We stayed here on May 12th 2023 ( not the 16th ,the 16th is when we got back home and i wrote this review) We LOVED everything about this place. Look forward to going back. And seeing what new upgrades they have done!

Still some more remodeling to be done the bedroom needs a nightstand on the side of the beds Had to put stuff on the floor But we liked the new bed new fresh remodeling of the room

We arrived quite late. The front desk clerk showed us sympathy by offering an upgraded room on the main floor, so we wouldn't need to take the stairs with our bags. Very nice older establishment that has been pretty-well maintained. Seems like a business conference/event center. They are in the process of some updating and improving parking areas. Nice big restaurant. Overall, I would stay here again.

Never fond of being near vending and ice dispensing machines. But not the end of the world!

We chose the hotel for the hot tub and pool. We knew it was going to be closed the next day for renovations but when we got there the hot tub was closed. Talk to three different people with 3 different answers on the situation.

We also stayed here so we didn’t have to venture out to find food and drinks. We walked to the bar for dinner to find out bartender didn’t show up so no dinner or drinks there. So out in the cold we went.

The front desk worker was kind and shared that the facility did what they could to keep the two rooms I reserved near each other and they did. 🫶🏻 The continental breakfast was amazing and the staff were so kind to my children which made me know they were safe. Thank you thank you 🙏

I was rather impressed by the remodel and upgrading of the rooms.

The housekeeper I encountered was less than friendly and rather rude. Only 2 towels in the room and no restocking for a 2 night stay.

Staff was helpful and accommodating and the room was clean and comfortable. Appreciated the on-site restaurant and bar after a long day's travel (fish tacos were excellent); the fresh drinking water dispenser at the front desk; and being able to make my own waffle at breakfast bar.

Mattress a bit soft for my taste.
