The accommodation was perfect for our family of 6. We all loved the style, layout, decor/design of our apartment in the hotel. It was our favourite accommodation during our road trip around California.

It would have been nice to have had an apartment that overlooked the pool but the view from our room was still lovely. Was hoping to use onsite launderette facilities but unfortunately App to operate the machines would not download onto my phone, which was unhelpful. There was no cash operated machine alternative.

The property is perfectly located, right in the heart of everything! It’s just steps away from restaurants, a mini grocery store, and the free gondola ride to Canyon Lodge. The amenities are fantastic, featuring three outdoor jacuzzis, a pool, a movie theater (which we didn’t get a chance to explore), and a well-equipped gym. The rooms are spacious and cozy, complete with fireplaces. Complimentary water and ice were provided, and housekeeping was exceptional—not only did they clean thoroughly, but they also washed the dishes and utensils we used! The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Antonio, who assisted us on our first night, upgraded us to a two-bedroom unit in the main building free of charge, as there was no bellman available to assist us with our luggage. Maria, who helped us extend our stay, was incredibly kind and attentive. She not only allowed us to retain our upgraded room but also provided outstanding recommendations for first-time visitors to Mammoth. Their warm hospitality made all the difference, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay.

The staff were incredibly helpful—especially the lady at the reception. We had a question about the payment, and she kindly checked us in anyway without making us wait, showing genuine care and professionalism. The location was perfect—right in the heart of the village with shops, restaurants, and the gondola just steps away. The room was spacious and cozy, the room was spacious and well-equipped and the underground parking was convenient.

A few more in-room amenities or modern updates would have made the hotel even better.

Beautiful lodge in a village-like complex with many shops and restos with a lively social scene We booked a one bedroom condo which was a great choice: very comfortable living room and separate bedroom with plenty of space for luggage and gear

Housekeeping is rather light touch, everything was clean but the beds were barely smoothed over. Plumbing drainage slow so water accumulates in the tub during shower

Perfect location, great facilities. Rooms were really good size and had everything that you needed. Would definitely recommend, especially if you can time it when there’s an event in the village.

Only downside was that it was very hot in the bedroom as we were facing the sun during the day, although they did provide ‘portable’ aircon unit. Maybe get a room not facing the pool in the summer.

A lovely place in a really beautiful location. We visited in the summer, rather than ski season, but it was fantastic. I wish we had more time to stay longer.

The property was great. My only worry was the altitude! I felt a little out of breath at 8,000 ft up.

The staff were always so friendly, asking about my day and my kids. The accessibility to everything was great, you could walk to so many restaurants and attractions. The room was clean, everywhere had water stations for free. There was also great entertainment in the village square. It was all delightful!

Everything was great except for the unwanted noise.

The location of our room. The room was on the 4th floor and facing the Village center (restaurants/bar) nearby. It was Friday night close to midnight, we woke up to yelling and arguing drunk men. The noise lasted about 30 to 45 minutes.

The staff were very kind and helpful and the room had everything one needed and was decorated nicely and very clean. We loved the mammoth towel animal too!

The air conditioning was super loud and one could hear everything outside.

The lodge and the location are perfect, the kitchen in the rooms had all things possible to help us cook family dinner, the pool area is perfect for the night activity. The rooms are large and comfy. the location is perfect, you can walk to everything in the area and buy whatever is needed
