Almost Everything. I found the hotel to be just about excellent, from its proximity to both the city centre and the railway station, to the friendliness and co-operation of its staff. It was great value for money and the breakfast, at just 10 EURO PER MORNING, represented EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY. I went to Wetzlar to see the famous LEICA CAMERA FACILITIES, and the CITY HOTEL is near to the LEICA MICROSYSTEMS complex of buildings, which is just 15-20 minutes away on foot.

I wish the hotel had an English-language station on its TV, but that's only because my rough German wasn't good enough to understand any of the (only) German language stations. I had thought that the bed had insufficiant blankets, but in fact the internal heating system in the hotel meant that I actually felt TOO WARM, rather than too cold.

Good location for a one night stay, excellent breakfast, very reasonably priced, very clean & lovely lady on reception was very helpful.

Very cheap and basic as a stop over. Looks a little dubious from the outside but it is clean and well located. I would stay again.

Very clean and comfortable. Fresh bottles of water left in the room each day was a considerate touch. Quiet considering busy location. Very convenient for rail & bus stations which is why we chose this hotel on this trip. Old town 15 min walk along river.

Perhaps a kettle & teabags to make a hot drink in the evening would have been nice.

Inside everything was top but outside a bit disorganized!!! Super nice staff, delicious breakfast and everything perfect at the reception!!!

Very good service even though we arrived late around 2245. Clean and comfortable rooms, we had the attic room so portable AC and fans were provided. I was surprised at the cleanliness and the facilities offered.
