Breakfast was good - as expected. The room was well funished, very comfortable indeed. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax after a long drive and a busy day.

Restaurant: I stayed for two nights and had booked a package including dinner. On the first evening the food for dinner was OK, on the second evening the waiter introduced a menu featuring porterhouse steak and sides. What I got was fried pork meat - very disappointing. I was offered a replacement (burger), which was so-so. My advice is to not book a dinner package, as you will be given no choice of food (with the exception of a vegetarian main course) and you menu will feature items from the very bottom of the menu range. This doesn't, in my opinion, really constitute value for money.

Extremely clean hotel with a pleasant, cordial staff. High sense of security, as the room card is needed to activate the elevator (which I never had seen before) and then the second elevator to access the 4th floor where the sauna and fitness room are found, but your pass needs to be activated by the front desk to access the sauna. One thing I extremely value are curtains that keep the room dark. Loved that.

The breakfast, while quite good, somethings such as the pancakes, rosti/hashbrowns and some sausages were a bit on the cold side. Cooked yes, but not warm through and through. For the money paid, it was a bit disappointing. Still good, but a slight minus point.

In general the hotel is clean, neat and comfortable. Check-in was easy, as was parking and finding the location to begin with. It is obviously situated on the premises of Leica Welt, which makes it the ideal choice for visitors.

Although outside temperatures weren't at all high during my visits, the temperature in the hallways and rooms was too high for my liking. Air conditioning didn't seem to function: it did turn on and some air was moved, but the room wasn't getting colder. I was denied a cocktail at the bar because there was a single large group at the restaurant, only mixers were served at the time. Seeing as Oskar's is actively marketing themselves as "Restaurant & Cocktailbar", I was highly disappointed. The beds were comfortable, but unfortunately the pillows were subject to quantum mechanics: there appeared to be a pillow, but it vanished as soon as you rested your head on it. Cleanliness was great except for the sofa which had multiple stains.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience although we were only stayed one night! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed. The real highlight, however, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and well taken care of. The location was ideal, and the facilities were top-notch. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stress-free and memorable stay.

They had an ongoing tech fault so the interactive tv did not work and we had to be let into the room by reception staff as the card key system was not working every time we went out They offered a gift if the room was not cleaned on our second day of our visit The gift was a packet of savoury puffs Which was DERISORY

Expensive restaurant and the food quality and taste do not represent the price. Paid 30 euros for a dish that was too salty, too heavy, medium taste (I mentioned that to the staff and they offered a coffee free of charge, which didn't save the situation, cause the dish costed 30 euros, but was at least a good move) Pillows. It's impressive that in a hotel that you pay 110 euros per night, the pillows are all soft and bad quality.

The hotel is part of the Leitz Park, with the Leitz museum and gallery, where Leica cameras are made, and this was one of the main reasons for our visit. The whole complex is very modern, and the hotel is well appointed. Our room was very comfortable, and by booking ahead, very reasonably priced. Wetzlar has a beautiful old town which is very much worth a visit.

The breakfast buffet is quite expensive, especially if you do not want to have a large breakfast. There was a background noise from the air-conditioning in the room as well, but not loud enough to disturb our sleep. There is a bus service to/from the town but it is not frequent, especially in the evenings.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff, like the variety of breakfast, restaurant staff are very friendly and willing to help at anytime. We booked 2 rooms, both have wonderful view of the whole Leitz-Park, one of it is car themed room, which is a big surprised to me. The staircase in hotel exhibit beautiful photos as well, there are hidden surprised to find. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The room is clean in general, however, I did find a blond hair on my towel while I am drying my face, which shocked me a bit (neither one of us are blond), the bath tub is covered with dust. Sleeping area and couch area are spotless.

Beautiful hotel with very good food. If you are going to Leica headquarters or planning to explore Leica Welt this is a good place to stay. The evening reception staff were excellent. The Leitz Cafe staff were wonderful.

The biggest problem is that the AC didn't work. Even set on the highest fan level there was no airflow. The hotel was advertised as having AC. We were only able to partially open the window because it was blocked by the sofa cushions. The checkout staff seemed entirely uninterested in our AC challenges. If it wasn't so late, we would have asked for help that evening. The staff at Oskar's restaurant were not interested in helping us in the evening at about 9:10 and tried to dissuade us from eating there, giving us every excuse as to why we couldn't order any food, such as, there's a huge group of 16 who just came in. We only wanted something light, so ordered, then went to sit in the bar. Getting and paying our bill was a challenge.

More than flawless! From the moment I entered through the beautifully decorated corridor, through the over the roof service to the most comfortable bed. And maybe the best breakfast ever. This hotel is perfect. Probably the best overall experience for me and I’m travelling a lot.

There wasn’t a single problem or anything to improve.
