The ladies at the front desk were awesome. Rita, Cindy and Annette. They were helpful and very cheerful every time I asked a question or had a need. Loved the paddleboard access and beach. I had an efficiency so it was nice to have dishes, pots and pans, stovetop, microwave, full size refrigerator. Restaurant dinner food was good. Breakfast was weak - I had a quiche and potatoes that were both barely warm so only had breakfast once and did other days in my room. Liked being able to walk to Jolly Hall Beach which was prettier than beach in front of hotel. They also offer a shuttle to town which I did not use but I thought was a nice amenity. The rooms are not fancy but they definitely have all you need. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for reasonably priced accommodations on the beach. They also helped with my taxi which was $30 from the airport and about 10-15 minutes. The driver will stop at the market to pick up provisions.

I did have some noise in my room. I could hear the people above me walking around in the evening and the A/C split was a little noisy in the bedroom.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating, the pool was very nice, location, beach, and value were fantastic. View from my room was wonderful. I am a woman, was traveling alone, and felt safe

My room was average. I was on the Hilltop. I am fit, but if someone had mobility limitations, it would be a difficult walk up the hill. The floor in my bathroom gave when walked on. I had it checked and was told it was loose tiles, nothing to fix during my stay, but it was unsettling for the floor to move.

The location is perfect...pretty well smack right in the middle of the island. The front office staff, maintenance staff and cleaning staff were extremely accommodating and an enjoy to talk with. Splash's bar food is fantastic. Huge kudos to the chef, as everything on the breakfast, lunch and dinner menu was yummy and had huge portions. They should hold on to her with a raise. The Splash's Bar staff was excellent...however there are a few waitresses that need a smile course. Loved the kayaking and view of the ocean on the beach. Swimming pool was perfect and the right size for the resort. Jolly beach is also a hop, skip and a jump away is amazing to have a few beers or more. Perfect place for families also. The Grit TV (western)channel was nice to watch in the evenings. Need that channel here in Canada.

It's not what I did not like...it's what I think, would compliment the room. A toaster oven to me is mandatory in the room. The wooden walkway to my room from the main walk way is aging and needs to have a quick update to avoid splinters and pop up nails.

Really loved the stay at this property. The staff was very friendly and attentive the room accommodations were perfect and private and peaceful. Very well maintained, clean and had everything you needed at the property. It is a beachfront property with its own private beach and poo with just a short walk to other beautiful beaches. I loved that they had a shuttle to and from Georgetown free to guests through out the day. They also have a on sight bar called Splash Bar and Restaurant serving from breakfast until late night. We stayed for over a week and loved every minute, also a short walk to the local Fish Fry where they have several bars and a amazing restaurant called Shirley's (BOMB FOOD AND SERIVICE) highly recommend. Thank you Exuma Hideaways and Splash Bar Staff........Annette, Cindy, Rita, Ralph, Shanaya and whole staff that made it wonderful stay.

What was not to like is more the question.😊 The location couldn't be beat with its own beautiful beachfront plus peaceful connecting beaches to roam. Sea swimming was exceptional. The free use of kayaks and paddleboards was wonderful. Above all, the members of the staff were exceptional in friendliness, courtesy and helpfulness.

For us, there was nothing not like.

The people working at Hideaways were outstanding. They were helpful, available, and incredibly kind. The location was great. When it rained hard for a couple days, the grounds and amenities were plentiful. We liked having a restaurant/bar onsite, and we loved being right on the water. And the resort cats - we loved them.

We didn't care for the sheets on the beds - scratchy and uncomfortable. The bed itself wasn't awful but wasn't great. It would have been nice to have a screen door and good screens on the windows so we could have enjoyed the fresh air without *as many* bugs. None of these issues will keep us from staying here again probably... But I may bring my own sheet & pillow case.

Great location, beautiful beach, super friendly and helpful staff, water equipment for free use.

Nothing we didn't like but the restaurant was difficult for dietary restrictions, didn't have much variety, was out of several items, and service took an excessively long time. This seems typical for the island especially heading into the off-season though, so probably not specific to Hideaways.

The staff at the front desk were exceptional. We arrived on the day before Christmas Eve and they coordinated multiple short-notice reservations with amazing grace. They also gave us fantastic advice about where to find food (24-26 were in short supply due to the boat not arriving on Christmas). The restaurant Splash was also wonderful. They accommodated us and many others on the island when everywhere else was closed. Such incredible people working at Hideaways!!

The staff were incredible! The property was excellent. We were so happy there and can’t wait to go back. Only issue was getting clean bath towels/bathroom supplies and beach towels but it was a small issue compared to how unbelievably nice everyone was! Shout out to Marvin and Bree who are the best!
