Lovely historic place, nice information on their history and location was beautiful. The breakfast to our room was great. Lots of options to choose from and too much to eat so we had it for morning tea later in the day. Fresh bread from local bakery was yum! Beds were comfy and the view over the river/ferry was great!

Second night the people in room next to us were very loud for an hour or so, (like they were standing in the hallway outside our door) I don't think it was sound proofing issue they were just super loud people as we did not hear any other noise from the restaurant downstairs or the cars/ferry outside at any other time.

We arrived very late at around closing time at 10pm, which can be problematic for a small, cosy hotel like this. The team was still so very welcoming and gave us the key, all instructions and a food package for morning breakfast. The room was a surprise and delight, and we very much regretted only being able to stay 1 night and having to move on the next day early morning.

Nothing not to like for us. Thank you, team of 't VeerHuys, for accommodating us and being such a delight, even though we ran late. The room was great and very characteristic of the building. :-)

We expected smaller room, but the size of the room (De Baron) , view to the river etc. were exceeding our expectations! Breakfast delivered to room good idea, expecially when you need to leave early. Cleanliness excellent. Dinner in the restaurant was very pleasant experince. Restaurant visited by a lot of local people - the best recommendation! Family atmosphere, nice staff.

The hotel in reality is much more better than some photos on booking.com are showing. I can this hotel definitely recommend.

I was arriving late at night and they waited on my arrival which was very good!! I had a nice breakfast in the morning in my room which was already in my fridge at the late arrival. The fresh bread they left on the hook on the door outside my room which I could eat at my leisure the next morning. A nice room , nice bed , good shower and a nice view in the morning of the river. Definitely coming back here. Good value for money

Bike stored in an inner area behind locked doors. The onsite restaurant was good and popular with the locals. The hotel isn't staffed at night or in the morning so breakfast supplies were placed in the room's fridge with bread etc hung on the room door, the large room had a table and chairs to eat at plus easy chairs. Hotel is situated close to river ferry and easy to find.

It’s a very nice hotel with an awesome restaurant. The rooms were large, clean, and stylishly furnished.

The breakfast ist served in your room and is rather basic. The buns and croissants weren’t enough for 4 people and overall quality of breakfast could have been better

Absolutely lovely quiet location along the river with a loft room in the hotel/pub. The room was perfect and the breakfast was exceptionally generous.

Nothing it was a perfect little stay overnight along our road trip through the Netherlands.

Incredibly spacious apartment,with comfortable beds,all fascilities and lovely river views.The breakfast was great,varied and huge. Staff were all very nice and the apartment was incredibly clean.

Bathroom was a bit small,compared to the size of the apartment, and the outdoor spiral staircase leading the apartments seemed daunting,but actually was fine in the end. Neither took away from a lovely stay,and we would book again without hesitation.

Nice clean room. Remote location, peaceful.surroundings overlooking the lake. Nice restaurant downstairs with good food. The breakfast is provided in a small basket and you get fresh breads in the morning. There's tea, coffee in the room. There's a TV with English movie and series channels. The staff is very courteous. Will definitely come back here

Loved everything!

The room was very big, the breakfast was lovely, the little restaurant was cosy and the staff friendly.

There was a lot of wind and the building was not very good isolated what made the noise very strong. The doors reacted on the wind.
