Staff was really helpful. The only negative point was that we didn't book breakfast, but decided at the hotel to add this to our stay. It seemed to be a bit of a hassle for staff to do this, because the front desk told us we could just go for breakfast and put the charge on the room number, but the staff at the breakfast always made a big deal out of that we didn't reserve it. A better communication between front desk and other staff would have been helpful, but hotel was excellent.

breakfast was amazing! we needed 2 extra pillows for the bed, and got them right away. the rooms which are not renovated yet, are a little outdated, but served us well and they are pretty spacious! the price for them is also little high, but it was Tomorrowland w1, therefore understandable. there is an Albert Heijn very close.

it is not possible to reserve a parking spot while there are approx. 45 spots in the garage. we were worried every night when coming home that we won't have a spot at some point, thankfully that never happened. the property needs to figure out a parking spot reservation system because the guests expect a spot if they come by car and told that no reservation is required to secure one. the beds - even when they are pushed together as a double bed - have space between them which is quite uncomfortable.

Nothing was too much trouble for the kind staff, even when we arrived after 11pm. I couldn’t get the electric car charger to work, so they used the hotel card to help me charge my car and then I paid separately. They let us keep our car in the carpark after checkout. Very friendly to our son. We got a huge beautiful room for a good rate on a Monday night. Gigantic bed, sofabed, kitchen area, big bathroom. Cool Olympic theme throughout the hotel). Antwerp hosted the 1924 Olympics).

Breakfast was OK but not many vegan options. We’d like to have vegan cheese, yoghurt and pastries in addition to vegan milk.

Definitely fancier than I'm used to, but that might just be me! Was expecting a more unassuming hotel, so I legitimately did a double take when I realized this would indeed be my stay. I even took out my phone to double check the reservation! The hotel takes up an entire skyscraper-sized building, and it's got it all: large, fancy reception area, good breakfast facilities, free sauna, inside restaurant. I guess I'm easy to please, but I found it really luxurious.

Minor nitpick, but the room was a bit shadowy. There were plenty of lamps, but a central overhead light wouldn't have been amiss.

Staff was extremely nice & well trained. The hotel itself looked amazing & the cleaning crew deserves all the applauds.

Not at all concerning the hotel, but rather the guests. If you expect a hotel to be up to par, you have to be educated enough to know you have to be too. So stop letting your kids/yourself destroy what these people work hard for. Leave your kids at home or educate them before traveling. Don’t come on Booking to complain about how the hotel looks, because if you look close enough, it’s spotless. The areas that aren’t are ruined by other guests :)

Customer service was fantastic, staff very helpful. Our room was great value for money. The bed was the comfiest bed we’ve ever slept in. The kitchen was very useful with two young children. Our room was spacious for two young boys to play in and you can get English children’s cartoon channels to entertain them too. Hotel is next to great transport link into the centre.

This is not something I didn’t like but it’s Just a suggestion, offer a map and directions and instructions of how to use public transport. On the first day we walked into the centre as we did not know where the trams were or anything about them and it’s quite a distance. A little information would be helpful to guests.

Very nice room, clean bedding, cool beds, clean bathroom. The kitchen deserves special attention. Everything takes up little space, but it is very well equipped. In general, you don't often see forges in hotels... But we were very lucky with Mercure Antwerp City South. You can park the car for a day. The centre is easily accessible by public transport, more convenient than by car. The children also broke a shelf in the bathroom. No one said anything, no complaints, everything was very decent and polite

Good location for a short stay! Tram stop just 5 min away, staff very helpful, luggage storage without any extra costs, possibility for a late check out and they were able to accommodate my initial room requests!

Rooms were cleaned but dusty, especially on the side of the chairs and other furniture. We barely used them since we were mostly out or in bed but it would have been nice to have the option to sit in a clean chair. Tip for the housekeeping manager’s to inspect the sides of the chairs and other furniture also cause this can be a place where bloodsuckers might breed! Also it wasn’t possible to open the windows for fresh air, you have aircon but would have been nice to have that option! Important to note that these details didn’t hinder our stay! We had a lovely time!

Good location, staff alwats helpful and nice. The lobby had hot chocolate and hot wine that are super yummy and helpful during cold nights. The rooms are big and well designed

We had a heater problem in the room. The room was too warm. The staff were very helpful but the problem wasnt solved. They did give us an electric fan to make the room more comfy Parking in the hotel is challenging (although there’s free parking in the nearby bridge less than 5min walk)

Clean, modern.

On check out, the receptionist couldn’t add my address to my invoice….as it was a Booking.com booking apparently, and isn’t possible. As a frequent business traveller NEVER experienced this. Was promised it would be emailed to me later that day. Still waiting! Also witnessed the same receptionist snap at another customer for asking a question. NOT EXCEPTABLE!
