Breakfast can be rated as fairly good in contents , qualiity and presentation . However , for its a bit pricy for asian equations . So was meals/dining options . Ambience and upkeep of property is almost heavenly . Staff is well trained and amazingly pleasant , while also extremely polite . The resort is more focused on the essential theme of the island eg , diving , snorkeling, hiking . Contrary to assumed notions what a "resort" should have , there is no swimming pool or gymnasium - you can't get enough time and energy for this and hence may not be a typical guest's wish for these . The German origin proprietor , Gabriel - interminable with guests every day , he is very friendly , welcoming and shares his knowledge for many aspects of tourists' interests . He is a top notch sea diver .
A hot kettle and a coffee tray would have been desired , however , I understand that management feels otherwise for cleanliness factors . An organized arrangement by the resort for pick-up and drop to local airport and ferry at a reasonable fare would save a bit of agony , as the transportation modes are mainly by motor trikes and micro vans which cannot be easily hailed or negotiated , as Camiguin is relatively a small and quiet island

great location and nice room with very comfortable bed.
wifi connection not working in the room and often times also at the dining area. not great for solo travelers who need suggestion to organize activities as all of the tours and activities proposed by the hotel are for min 2 people, and the staff is not able to assist and indicate other operators to arrange activities. food and basic services like booking a tricycle are quite expensive for the island (ride to/from airport is 200p, but if you ask the hotel they charge 400p and don’t mention there is possibility to take a shared van for 30p).

The ocean front room was gorgeous. Bed was very comfortable and great views and breeze. No issues without a/c and only a fan. The water is natural spring water, so you can drink from the tap. The food was *excellent* and the staff were very friendly. You'll meet Gabriel and his wife, the owners. They help set up excursions around the island and there's a family vibe; you really get to meet the other guests and get to know them. Mantigue Island is close by with **amazing** snorkeling.
The wifi is not good, I'm a digital nomad and I needed to work and wasn't able to do so. Also the dock/pier for diving/snorkeling on the house reef is a joke. It's nearly impossible to use with the tiny metal ladder down into the water. Those who went out also said that there isn't much to see. FYI: take cash. You'll need it for some excursions and for the transfer to and from the airport.

The space was astonishing. The view is fabulous and the access to the water is absolutely incredible. The staff was extremely kind and the food, as well, really good and quite international to be on a tiny island. The eco resort is such a unique and immersive experience - highly highly recommended. Tours are amazing as well!
Some of the room are without air conditioning and the humidity doesn’t give you a pleasant experience when you stay for too long inside. As well, since it’s quite immersed into a big jungle there are a lot of animals and noise during the night but this we believe can be a pro for someone.

What a idyllic place and a warm welcome by the friendly staff. The resort has a peaceful, natural ambiance. We had a deluxe room, we enjoyed the comfortable bed, airco and own terrace. The rooms are placed in an open garden which give a spaceful, natural feeling. The kitchen is very good, we enjoyed breakfast like pancakes and yoghurt with delicious fruits, and dinner has plenty of vegetarian options. I definitely recommend the mongo bean soup. There is a bamboo platform at the sea to enjoy the sea, sunset and stars. There is also a small ladder to go into the sea and enjoy the quite beautiful “house reef”. Volcan Beach has the advantage that it has its own dive club. We planned to do dives at Mantigue, but due to the rough sea we went to Blue Lagoon. We didnt regret that, since the two dives were both beautiful with a very steep coral reef. The dive guides are Jake and Elly who just started at Camiguin like 1 month ago. Jake was our guide, we were with two so quite a luxuary that we had a guide for our own. That came with the advantage that he could take some time for us since it has been a while since our previous dive. Summary: definitely go to Volcan Beach when you look for a comfortable room in a natural space, and enjoy the good kitchen, friendly staff and diving club.
The wifi failed now and then.

This place is amazing!!! The owner and the staff are always willing to attend your travel needs and will give you the best support and treat!!! Please do not miss the opportunity to get a glass of wine, sit on the deck with your book and enjoy the sunset that I believe only a few places around Camiguin will offer!! And if you stay here you’ll have that privilege!! I also dove with them and it was just great!! I totally recommend to stay here, the food is great, rent a scooter and explore the island!! You will love it!!

Hotel atmosphere was super nice , really nice vegetation full of palms and nice plants topical from the area . The cabins has different types depends of how much you want to expend , in my case i been my first night in garden view but after I moved to superior room with private cabin and in front of the beach was really good and totally worthy to pay a little more cause experience is much better . The decoration of the units are like tropical feeling and was very clean ! Owner is a German guy that was all the time pending of the people in a good way , he is the reference person to help and organize the planing for the activities. About the activities they help you to organize all and they pick from the hotel , including food and all the equipment in case you need fir each activity . The staff has always a smile in the face and they are never feel stress . About the stress topic is good but they take time for prepare your order , recommended to no arrive hurry in the breakfast time cause in this country ( in a good way ) they don’t stress and go little by little . The hotel is located in front of the beach , no in the more center point but for me was better cause was very relax and easy to access with tuc tuc in 5 minutes to the area with some small restaurants. When I been there I feel immediately more relax and I recomend totally , also the sunset view is super nice with the see in front and the sun on you !
Wifi is working just in the restaurant area , in the rooms was not working and not working the 3G . For me was ok and I was felling less depend of the phone but for some people can be a point to considered

Location was perfect right at the water. Could enter the ocean from the property. Beautiful sunsets from the pier at the hotel. Amazing staff and really good food. Very comfortable rooms and beds with views overlooking the ocean. Beautiful gardens.
Wifi did not work between 22.00 and 7.00. Tricky if you want to communicate with Europe during those times as there is also no signal. Due to the thatched roofing of the cottages, there was some black sand everywhere after a while. While they did clean the room every day, it seemed to always come back, unclear what it was.

Had a great time, thanks to all the staff for being so polite and accommodating and the Filipino tour guide was really nice guy, cant remember his name off hand but the staff will know who im talking about. Loved the villa, didnt realise it was actually open to the elements but I preferred it to be honest, felt authentic.

The resort has an interesting concept of cottages which gives you the sensation of being immerse in the nature. It has sea view and a beautiful garden. The food is very good and the staff is amenable. The location is a bit far from the towns but the staff was very kind and assist us with a moto rental.
You can only get wifi access in the Restaurant/Reception area, that is a little handicap considering that in the cottages there is not phone signal either. I would also suggest to implement some nets in on top of the cottages in order to avoid the entry of insects. In our stay, we had to deal with some bugs and spiders.
