The view is uninterrupted out onto beach. The room is exactly like the photo. The restaurant is good - loved the merluza frita, not so impressed with the plateada which lacked other veggies, the creme brule was nice. Nice breakfast selection with great coffee, detox juice, fresh fruit and seeds.

Not sure the system of banging on all the doors shouting "lavanderia" from 7.45am onwards is really necessary. Specially since the design on the hotel means you hear them shouting on the floors above and below too! The check-in should have included an explanation as to the fact that you come in on the 4th for where the restaurant is and the rooms are above and below. I got a bit lost coming up from the room to find the restaurant For me the location was fine because I have a car but if you didn't it would be hard to get into the centre.

We arrived in Antofagasta coming by car from Calama, up in the desert. It was a shock: the first view on the sea was breath taking! High spirited, we arrived at the hotel, easy to find and to access, in front of the beach. At first, the attendant couldn´t find our reservation, but it was quickly solved, so we parked in a very safe place and headed to our room. Beautiful! We had the best balcony with a sea view. We could notice that the building has all the rooms facing the sea, and it was notable. The room was in perfect conditions with lots of space, good quality furniture and amenities, a small kitchen and a bathroom in great standard. Cleanliness was impeccable. In the evening we had our welcome drinks in the restaurant and decided to have dinner. The food was fantastic! About the breakfast, the same: lots of options, excellent coffee and the sea view. The hotel has filtered water in the corridors and free coffee and biscuits in the reception. As a bonus, we needed one extra hour for our check-out and it was promptly granted. We were extremely satisfied with Geotel in Antofagasta. In Calama we stayed at Geotel as well and the experience was equally rewarding. Completely recommendable!

Sunshades for the guests in the beach could be an interesting suggestion.

A great hotel. We went for one night and stayed for three! Room had a beautiful view across the beach. Lovely watching the sunset and lying in bed watching the waves. We were on the fourth floor. Anything below this would not have had that great a view. Bed was really comfortable and the pillows amazing. Slept really well. No noise from other rooms. Sound proofing is good. Shower was great. Really hot water. Complimentary drink when you arrive. Restaurant is good. Sat on the balcony eating our meal and watched whales swimming across the bay! Parking is excellent.

The concept of Geotel points to some degree of minimalism and conection with the environment. The rooms don’t have air conditioning and are thought to ventilate through the windows. The gum has only to devices —well maintained and with windows facing the see, which is good— It’s prices is higher than the corresponding for facilities with some restricted commodities. The metals, precisely for being by the seashore have much oxidation. The food is good but more expensive than what it should.

Excellent room with a good view of the beach. The Manager put right " a wrong" on New Years Eve and found us a table for the celebrations after the hotel had told us that they would not be having any festivities - just a normal restaurant service. When we arrived we were told said restaurant was full and that we would have to eat a fixed menu in our room!! It took many hours to resolve the issue and the staff were very unhelpful. Other hotel guests were in the same situation but didn't manage to get a table! The rooms were comfortable, the parking was excellent and very secure. Breakfast was good and the restaurant service more than acceptable.

Check-in was incredibly slow and took 40 minutes; this after a day of driving across the Atacama dessert! The staff didn't want to interact with us.

It is a great hotel with excellent staff and beautiful views of the ocean. The breakfast has a big selection of very good food. I would recommend getting the junior suite, which we had for our last 3 day stay. For just a little extra charge at booking, you get so much extra space than the standard room we selected for this overnight stay.

Unfortunately the kitchen area last time did not have anything other than cooking/serving utensils so we were not able to use the stovetop or microwave: no dishes, mugs, or cutlery. Perhaps we could have asked for them to bring these things, but we decided not to prepare or heat any food in the suite.

Really nice room, clean and spacious. Only stayed one night. Breakfast was very good and varied, buffet setting with fruit, coffee, everything you might want for breakfast. The only thing I would have improved is the fitness room, it had no water system working and a few weights would add some value to the place, it looked very empty. Staff was exceptional.

The room was spacious and very clean. Great view of the Pacific Ocean. The shower had hot water and great water pressure. The WiFi was fast. There was plenty of free parking. The included breakfast was great.

The WiFi didn't work in my room. There was a missing WiFi router right across from my room, I know because I found the wire hanging from the ceilinganlong with the empty screw holes. Perhaps it was out for repair, but I'm certain that if it was there, I would have been able to get online from my room instead of having to sit in the hallway to do my work. The bathroom was on the small side. There was no air conditioning, but with the ocean breeze, I'm not sure that it would be necessary...

Location - away from the centre of Antofagasta, overlooking a beach. Staff were friendly, especially at check in, food was fine, plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet. Bed very comfortable. Safe and secure parking. Loved the complimentary Pisco Sours!

Room a little tired, basin tap not properly attached. Room temperature seemed pre set. Not sure why we were given a disabled person's room.

Restaurant service has room for improvement. Short menu, slow. Food is good, but service to be improved. Will keep going cos it is acceptable level
