This is a small hotel near the city center, with very good services (reception, breakfast), several parking places available (we got lucky to have one free for us), spatios room, with all facilities you can ask for (including shaving kit, etc. - like in 4-5 stars hotels). The room also had a balcony, good air-conditioning, comfy beds.

The choice for breakfast was good, but can use some improvement.

We arrived very early in the morning but the check-in was quick and easy! Everyone in the reception were lovely and so polite! The room was huge, clean and comfortable! it was cleaned daily! Air conditioning was perfect for the hot weather! The breakfast was basic but so yummy! The location was bang on in the centre of Lamia with all conveniences near by!

The aircondition would shut off as soon as we opened the balcony door. But that was to be expected!

A comfy room. A cosy reception, with a welcoming receptionist made the stay, however brief, much better! Should I ever return to Lamia, Hotel Athena would be my first choice to stay to.

The only thing I found somewhat negative was that there weren't enough amenities in the room, especially in the bathroom.

Perfectly located within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops in the area, no more than 50-100 metres away. Despite the central location, very quiet, comfortable large beds and a very pleasant olde worlde feeling. Excellent service and very helpful staff.

Very good stay with very friendly hosts. Central location in town. Staff was very supportive to find a parking and with luggage. Breakfast of good quality. All facilities and rooms in a good shape.

The elevator could be a bit bigger

Review disappeared for a month so some of the memories have faded. Combination of Booking.com and Google Maps directions had me looking in the wrong part of the street.

The staff was friendly and professional. The premises were clean and each floor had a very pretty decor. It was nice that they had parking spaces available. The location was also very convenient.

Even at 1AM we have been helped with check-in and parking just behind the house. Good location if you need a stop beween Athens and Volos port. We booked without breakfast and had to leave early already to catch the ferry... But we had a few hours of good sleep in a wonderful bed !

The room is very big for 4 people (1 double bed, 1 single bed and 1 sofa bed). It's really clean. We arrived very late at night for we drove directly from the airport which is a 2-hour drive. And there was a staff waiting for us at 2am. The bed is very comfortable. After a very long tiring day, sleeping in a very good bed and super clean room/bathroom is really what we needed. Breakfast is included which is really a big plus.

Pretty luxurious for the price. Spacious room, exceptionally clean. Staff very helpful even late at night. The only problem is with the parking but it is sort of the same almost everywhere in Greece, so no surprise with that.
