Right from Devika greeting us at the resort, Prabhakar providing us a room upgrade, Soumajit delivering us Makhanas on the beach and Awadhesh leading from the front to provide us utmost care and attention, this trip has been special and is always going to remain close to our hearts. Thank you to all of you. Thanks to Makhil ji for guarding us from the sea and always helping us out. Thanks to Abhijit and Akhil for playing cricket and table tennis with me upon my request. We are thankful to the staff at the restaurant who were always warm and caring (Deepankar, Ankita, I am missing a few names here but their care for our new born will always be distinctly remembered). Thanks to the tall gentleman preparing the most wonderful tea during the 4.30 pm snacks and most importantly doing it with utmost grace and a warm smile. Thank you to Harit and the other chef gentleman we met and the flavourful food they and their team have provided us. And finally special thanks to Pradip ji who took care of all our luggage during checkout. We have had a wonderful trip thanks to the courteous, thoughtful and dedicated staff at Taj Bekal. The staff are extremely friendly and the manager was very accomodative. Food was excellent and buffet had a good spread

On the day we checked in our bed was filled with tiny hairs, I assume that either the sheets were not changed after the previous guests or somebody had misused the bed. The stairs leading to our room very dirty.Having to experience something like this at a Taj Property was very disappointing.The lady who checked us in on the 31st did not tell us that the 1st of every month is a dry day in Kerala because of which our daughter's birthday celebrations did not go as per our plans

The experience in relaxing within the room and laying on the swinging bed in the backyard facing the back water is simply awesome. There are more activities which keeps us engaged and kills out boredom if we happen to experience one :). Beach view and Sit outs near the back of back water would be soothing and calming.

If the ideal motive is to spend the days within the property, then set your mind to spend a lot on food, it will definitely increase your budget plus 30%. Activities like Nets cricket and Archery are chargeable with GST. No indoor games are allowed after 7pm.

The property is beautiful and the facilities are great. Food was excellent. Staff too were very attentive & friendly.

The rooms didn't exactly have a great view. The balcony is too open and water was pouring down from the top hence we couldn't sit in the balcony at all. The resort is not very rain friendly... basically because of the heavy rains it was difficult getting around the property. Also I didn't think it was necessary for the resort to charge for activities like Pickleball!!

There were so many activities in the property and they also arrange taxis for local sightseeing or shopping. The buggy service within the resort was quick to take you around and great if you travel with kids or senior citizens, buffet meals had a lot of different variety and was great, creche in the property and activity room to keep kids occupied

There was some water leakage in the bathroom, a bit overpriced in peak season, some of the activities like cricket, archery etc were not included in the package price

The place is quite divine and serene and the best location to stay away from the crowd. The staff were polite and friendly and everything was slick and span. Watching peacocks in the surroundings was a pleasant surprise and we had fun too with the great zip lining experience over the river. We had a great welcome from the staff with a cake too and a wonderful message carved on the bed for our 25th wedding anniversary. Thanks for that.

The Place situated in between the sea and the river with untouched natural beauty stole our hearts.

Everything is excellent, really, including the staff, the food, swimming pool and the superb beach. There is nothing significant to dislike.

They could consider having some free play equipment in the pool area for guests to use. Also the indoor bar seems a bit sleepy, at least when we visited in early evening and could do with some livening up with music etc.

The warm welcome, their hospitality, the lovely villa accommodation, their complimentary tea and snacks services, their complimentary fruit basket, banana chips kept in the room as well as given as a return gift. The staff in their restaurant was very friendly and caring. Sri Lakshmi at the reception took great care at every step. The property is beautiful! The river as well as the beach are such a charm!

Halloo, It was my first experience with the TAJ, I would say they have done a fantastic job just by creating this venue. Next the complete team has done a fantabulous job in the upkeeping of the property. Every small detail is taken care. We had a splendid stay and we are sure that we will be rushing back to this property whenever time permits. We loved it and enjoyed every moment spent there.

The food was excellent. The breakfast was also great!

On arrival we could have been contacted regarding our food preferences after a long journey from Delhi since we were hungry. Also the welcome drink was not provided (we would have preferred coconut water). Also restaurant can provide us information on when the buffet would be there in Lunch or dinner to plan accordingly.
