I had booked the backwater view suites and it was very quiet and green with the serene view of the backwaters. The suite was very clean and the staff was warm and professional, not over friendly! The entire property has lots to offer, swimming pool, gym, TT table, badminton court, bamboo rafting, kayaking, fishing or cycling to the beach. The food was scrumptious and the restaurant staff incl. the F&B manager - Sanjiv and his team, gave total assistance to make my wife's birthday special. They had gazebo seating, light music, excellent fusion of local food with an international twist that doesn't hit the palate. Having travelling more than 20 countries and various luxury properties on India, the overall service experience here was an absolute 💯

There is always room for improvement, here are a few areas to make it even better: 1. The booking staff needs to be more prompt and interested to respond to our requirements. E.g. birthday cake was given at a wrong date, exact itinerary of my trip had to be told to different people representing different teams, such as f&b, travel desk and front desk instead of one person 2. The pool table and badminton court needs better maintenance. Badminton needs a temp sun cover to ve able to use it more. 3. The bamboo raft and cycle rents need to be included. Imagine charging 100 bucks and 500 bucks for these activities, when already the suite tariff is super high. 3. Room service was extremely slow. It took avg. 20 mins even to get a bottled drink delivered.

I cannot say enough about my experience at the Lalit in Bekal. From the start, the welcome I received from Ms Anita, and the way I was treated by everyone throughout my stay exceeded my expectations and made my stay all so much better. The daily attention I received, as a solo traveler, from Priyaakhi Maitre d', and the Chef at the restaurant (the local dishes were excellent by the way), as well as Mr.Joy and everyone else, has left an indelible impression on my heart. This stay was the rest and recuperation I needed and it delivered. The spa is top-notch, and Dr Sheresh has been very helpful in advising the ayurvedic treatments I could avail myself of. The standard of the treatments delivered was also excellent. It's a place I will visit again and warmly recommend my friends and family to visit as well.

The plug points for charging electronic devices must be updated. However, I will add that my technical glitch was quickly resolved thanks to the always helpful staff.

Lovely locality. Perfect getaway from city madness. Very calm and serene. Woke up to calm bird sounds everyday. Located with back waters on one side and beach on the another. One can walk around the property for calm atmosphere and great views Rooms have good ambience and well maintained. View from the room is scenic. Walking distance to a beach from within the hotel itself (the beach is not a private one, but it is offbeat, so we saw very little crowds even on weekends) Staff were courteous and polite Food at restaurant is quite good.

The room comes with a Jacuzzi - the pressure isn't great. Also, no hot water connection to the Jacuzzi.

We arrived at the hotel around 10:30 PM after a six-hour drive from Calicut to Kasargod. The restaurant was about to close, but we requested a bowl of plain rice and a cup of yogurt for our son, who had an upset stomach and hadn’t eaten much during the trip. We were welcomed with tender coconut as a drink, and the staff was incredibly friendly, making check-in smooth. They quickly sent the rice and yogurt to our room, and even made sure the rice was hot. The property is fantastic, with spacious rooms, large balconies, and excellent cleanliness. You’d need at least two days to fully explore the property, but unfortunately, we only planned for one. We’ll definitely visit again. It's just 15 minutes from Bekal Fort. The breakfast was great, offering a variety of options. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

A perfect stay at a resort with access to expansive free movement areas including riverside and the beach connected to Arabian sea. Saw some stunning sunset, variety of flora and fauna a treat to our eyes and enriching our experience. The food tasted very good too. There are even more facilities that we did not even try on this visit and probably would try another time.

A small feedback would be about the vessels used in breakfast have a very heavy handle, not necessarily friendly to all customers that like to help themselves.

Excellent staff , we were here 14 days and they made me feel like home nothing more nothing less, from Anita at front office to Pawan Singh and Ritik in housekeeping , special mention to Shivam and Meet to bring me food in room dining, the experience was more than fabulous and fantastic

Stunning architecture, beautiful grounds, private villas and we didn’t feel stacked on top of each other. Lovely facilities.

Nothing really, except that the nearest coffee shop and stores were like 2.5 kms away.

Spacious rooms, nice views, very hospitable staff. Diwali celebrations organized by the staff was amazing. We had a memorable trip. We were in room no 201 and it had amazing views of the palm fringed property and the river. FnB staff Priyakhi and Santosh were outstanding. Live juice counter during breakfast was very nice.

Jaccuzi did not have hot water

The place is serene and beautiful... They have Huge swimming swimming pool which operates till 6pm. Restaurant serves good food + they have room service facility. Buffet breakfast had a huge spread

Less activities. Check-in time wasn't adhered. Accurate information should be provided by the receptionists wrt to dining and facilities

Overall good experience and good ambience, good amenities ,inside resort can do some activities ,helpful staff,good breakfast

There is nothing to see outside the resort except Bekal Fort, and beaches, beaches which are not very clean,not very tourist friendly areas
