The staff was absolutely amazing. They were helpful with everything, polite and cheerful. The breakfast lady always prepared the same table for us that we appreciated very much! The room we got was stunning! We got the view over the river, very quiet room, spacious and clean. The facilities like pool, spa - clean, you can order drinks by the pool. The hotel and facilities look even nicer in real life than in pictures. For Breakfast there is plenty of choices, great coffee, croissants, very delicious homemade eggs and fruit. Breakfast with a beautiful view and sounds of the river.

Staff in their restaurant Grand Cafe San Marco was not helpful, everything was a problem, we wanted to be seated by the river but they would have to set up the table so they just said no, Not good hospitality. Also, a bit slow.

The location of the hotel was tremendous next to the river with a cozy green area to relax on the chairs. The tables along the river for breakfast, food or drinks were covered with lovely greens to give shadow. The vibe was just stunning.

In order to keep using the hotel facility (pool, chairs, shower, etc.) on the day of departure for longer than 11:00 cost 35 Euros per person. I think 20 Euros would be more adequate, but all in all price/performance was good.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Everything was exceptional and unique, starting from the location of the hotel which is overlooking the river Mincio and its waterfalls with the small village of Borghetto. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely furnished, and the reception was extremely kind to offer us an upgrade into a room with a river view. Sleeping with the sound of river flowing is something that relaxes you beyond imagination. The spa & wellness is fine, and offers you a wonderful view of the river from its terrace with sunbeds. I’m still lost for words and looking forward to come back and forget about everything for a couple of days.

fantastic location and nice ambience. parking included, some staff members were really nice and attentative, particularly the ones from the breakfast and restaurant. modern and stylish hotel.

minor things, the spa was somewhat odd, modern, yet with an odd smell and dark. would be nice if the hotel provides info about parking upfront per message (maybe I missed it) rooms were modern but had individual flaws (one room had pigeons under the roof, the other was very dark due to small windows) paying for omlette at breakfast, fair enough but not a 4star experience

Beautiful stunning location, right by the river in a quaint village, authentic tasty breakfast, lovely relaxing spa, spacious clean room - really enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend

This is minor but it is a bit noisy at night with the fast flowing river adjacent to the hotel however we do sleep with earplugs and this was fine - also, we had stormy/rainy weather one night and this probably made it sound louder

It is a very charming hotel situated in lovely place facing river and historical Borghetto. We booked the hotel as it had great reviews and very nice pictures and were not disappointed. Everything worked really well there- personnel was helpful and friendly, food was great, rooms- spacious, modern with great views, hotel area simply beautiful. We learned that hotel is actually recently renovated 13th century customs building and it is extremely successful combination of old and new- amazing renovation effort! We also tried some SPA treatments and massages were one of the best we ever had- can definitely recommend it. Also area offers a lot so it was never boring. Fantastic place to spend your time and relax. We plan to come back!

The staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast lady is an absolute sunshine. The outdoor swimming pool is open 24/7 and the water is perfect for a night swim- they also serve drinks by the pool all night long. We defined recommend staying in this hotel!

The river by the hotel can be a little loud, but the rooms are well sound proofed so you can still get a good nights sleep, you just have to close the windows if your room is on the river side.

Everything! What is not to like? The location is wonderful, the staff very friendly, swimming pool open 24/7, staff made the coffee in the morning, beautiful room.. what a dream stay

This has nothing to do with the property, maybe just some small advice- people put their towels to claim beds. This should be forbidden, especially when not in use.

Absolutely a well maintained and beautiful hotel. The attention to detail is astounding. The room was bigger than expected, clean and amazing interior design, that blends luxury, modern and old really well. Breakfast was great, bacon was really good and tasted fresh. The selection of sweet pastries, and fruit was great. Pool area and the facilities is super nice and the location of the hotel is surreal. It’s a beautiful area with the river and near by restaurants tying the whole experience together.

The rooms were a bit dark, so a bit more light would be great. More sun beds, or not having guest tying up a bed when not in use.

Location is superb. Right in the heart of Borghetto on the bank of the river. Hotel is sheer comfort and style. Beds are very large and comfortable. Staff were great. Breakfast was super. It is an ideal hotel for a few days relaxing in the spa or in the garden. They organised bike hire for us which is easy and you can stick to cycle paths along the river.

Only thing l didn’t like were the paper cups in the bedrooms. For such a luxurious hotel l would have expected a proper cup. But it is a tiny thing.
