Excellent location for our purpose

As I have found before, we were disappointed with the unit allocated. Bookings.com has the habit of showing the best photos of the property (in this case a beachside chalet/beach views) when in fact we had an old cabin as far from the beach as possible. No fault of the hosts and quite comfortable, but this isn’t the first time I have booked through Bookings.com and have been allocated the worst position/accomodation at the venue. I now tend to go direct to the property rather than risk Bookings.com which is disappointing after using the site for many years and having discounts now available to me

Absolute primo location! Little bit out of town have stayed here several times now in all different sleeping arrangements. Stayed in the Villa on this occasion and woke up to a fantastic view of the beach right on the back doorstep. The villa has absolutely everything you need, clean, comfortable and wholesome. Great for kids and families but also secure and safe for singles travelling alone. Staff are accommodating and friendly. Absolutely value for money 10/10. Will be staying at the Villa again. The vibe is giving old school family beach holiday home- super private doesn’t even feel as if anyone else is around and you have the whole place including the beach to yourself. Quaint little gardens and lots of room for parking. Drive in garage with roller door so good too!

Travelled from Noresman - a long trip. Communication about checking in was superb and easily done when we arrived in the dark. Great room with comfy beds. Shower was really good and the location meant that we had a good sleep in a quiet location. Headed off in the morning refreshed and well rested. Easy to park a small truck too. We couldn't have asked for more.

All good. Slight confusion abut beds - 2 people, we needed 2 beds, not just a double. Easily sorted without a problem.

Absolutely wonderful ocean view from our eco chalet perched atop the dunes. Full 2 bedroom accommodation with big kitchen and lounge. Deck with seating and private carport was great to catch the sea breeze. We loved our relaxing private stay here for 5 nights.

Only thing was the decorative toilet seat kept sliding around when we sat on it, but we just popped some masking tape on to hold it for our stay. Owners could easily adjust the seat to prevent injury to customers.

Location very close to the beach, very clean bathroom and living/bedroom areas. Staff on site to assist, other guests spaced out, quiet.

The photos and description on the initial booking page did not really match the booked cabin, had initially thought from the images the room booked had ocean views however on further details after booking made, noting the description was a cabin amongst the caravan park, not on the ocean view side. Whilst a short walk away, was not as specified at time of booking.

We booked a waterfront unit and we weren’t disappointed in the views from the main bedroom and the lounge room. Older style unit with new appliances. Well stocked apartment with a bonus lockup garage. Very roomy apartment. Unit had its own Weber BBQ, too cold for us to use in July but a great inclusion for warmer weather.

The bed in the main bedroom was no where near as comfortable as the bed in the second bedroom, so we swapped.

This place is a little slice of paradise! A family cabin overlooking the beach was absolutely amazing. Gorgeous views. A perfect place to relax and enjoy with the family. This is the only Cabin caravan park we'll stay in when visiting Ceduna. Lovely ladies on reception made for a fabulous stay.

We didn't stay long enough. Would have loved a few more days :)

Location. Covered area between room and bathroom.

Room advertised online was not the room we received. Room online suggested we would have direct ocean views. This is the booking platforms issue - not the park's but originally I felt this was false advertising, until I reflected on it a bit. No picture online would be better than the picture they had of a modern colourbond cabin perched on top of sand dunes with a direct view of the ocean.

Excellent value for money, fabulous location with excellent amenities, and perfectly clean! We loved the games room and easy access to the beach. I would definitely recommend Shelly Beach and would stay there again in a heartbeat. We also loved the little interior court yard in our cottage - very private , while still feeling your part of the park community.

Everything was perfect.

The chalet was so much more than expected, plus it had an awesome view of the beach. The chalet was big, fitted out with everything we needed. The shower was great, beds comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked with whatever we needed. The only downside was we only stayed a night on our journey across the Nullarbor; would have happily stayed longer.
