Older hotel well upkept. Very attentive and friendly receptionist, later being waiter in the restaurant. Room well furnished above standard for what you get for price paid. Beeakfast standard selection but on the plus side extra cooked breakfast dishes were offered. Hotel ilion the main square just by the castle which was my destination. Dinner in restaurant great choice of among other local Bohemian dishes. Service was instant snd cordial.

Rather than a double bed we got two beds shoved together with a gap in the middle, quite annoying. Also there were no toiletries, not even a piece of soap or shower gel. That's quite unique, and not in a good way

The reseption guy was very friendly and helpful. He helped us many times and served breakfast in the morning.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. It is right in the historic main square of Telč. The hotel restaurant was good for dinner and the staff was fantastic.

We were in a very small room (212) The view from the room was wonderful, but it was very small for two people. For breakfast they had a nice buffet available, plus some hot items available. For our taste the coffee was not good.

Centrally located on the square with reserved parking right in front of the hotel. Room comfy with good shower pressure. Concierge offered a portable heater for the room

The location was fantastic and the room was comfortable.

The reception was not regularly staffed. The person working reception was also doing several other things at the hotel, like working at the restaurant. It was all fine, but we were waiting maybe 15 minutes at the desk to check in. Also, if I ever needed anything it was hard to track down someone to help.

Straight out of the pages of your favourite storybook fairytale! Telc will delight you! My lovely room was overlooking a beautiful manicured garden. The owner was very friendly and helpful, allowing me to leave my luggage before check-in time to go and explore this tiny colourful town. Excellent location, quiet and safe.

Loved the place - old town center, check in was good - the reception works till 22 o'clock and the receptionist was pleasant and helpful. We took economy room with shared bathroom. Everything was clean, enough for one night. Breakfast was a surprize - good, lots of fruits. I was sceptical because of the reviews, but actually everything went well!

This is a really nice, hotel and place to stay. Great, location, great parking and the rooms are very clean and comfortable

Everything was splendid, from the moment we arrived. The hotel manager was absolutely wonderful, and reminded us a lot of the legendary Basil Fawlty. We enjoyed every second of our stay at the Black Eagle. Would definitely recommend.
