Wow, this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The atmosphere created by the location , surrounded by running water, with trout and ducks, is exceptional. We had a garden view room which was comfortable, with a large bathroom, (bath and shower). All the staff worked their socks off. Twice the cleaners had remade and cleaned the room while we were at breakfast. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant on our first night. The other nights we walked into the small town and eat well there too. It is only a 100m walk, but the hotel is calm and quiet, not affected by the hustle and bustle of its surrounding. Good car parking was also provided.

When the other things you didn't like was that the wastebin in the bathroom was a bit small and the toilet roll holder a bit wonky, you can tell we had a great stay

Everything is excellent about this hidden gem along the banks of the River Sorgue. The property is beautifully maintained with large, well appointed rooms, a beautiful pool and with outdoor dining. It is a short and easy walk to the little village. The staff are very welcoming and super friendly doing everything to make our stay pleasant. I would recommend the outdoor dining with food and wine! We only wish we had spent more time in this stunning paradise.

I loved everything about the property, Its the most charming boutique hotel I’ve ever stayed in. They thought of the smallest details and the owner and Roman make you feel so welcome. Such an amazing hotel to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. It is a total gem of a hotel. I will be recommending to anyone I know going to Provence. It was very clean and it had everything you need. 5 stars. 🌟

First, the location was spectacular - the river running through the property was gorgeous. Second, the facility was warm and comfortable. But really, the best thing about the hotel was the staff. They aKL exceeded expectations. For example, we were arriving after 18:00 and the staff called while we were on our way to make sure we were taken care of for dinner. It was such a warm way to welcome us and make us feel cared for. The entire stay continued that way. We could not recommend it more!

The only sad thing about our stay was that the rest of the hotels on our trip paled by comparison. We missed the wonderful staff and beautiful facilities at Poète!

we were placed in an upgraded room which meant it was large, with quaint old fittings and yet modern comforts and a great view. Staff were exceptionally friendly, all spoke good English which was good as my French is not sophisticated. We also had dinner on the patio by the river and that was exceptionally good too - good authentic French cuisine - not cheap but worth it

Everything worked well

Absolutely wonderful hotel with wonderful views and very nice restaurant The rooms are outdated, but it’s fine if you’re not spending all time there Since the territory is wonderful and pool with jacuzzi was a good addition to that Restaurant absolutely wonderful, highly recommended

Excellent breakfast, healthy and delicious, fabulous variety. Wonderful, friendly service, very helpful staff and constant attention to detail and to one's well being. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Great Bistro in operation under Nicolas and his team. Hotel du Poete makes the perfect Provence experience!

The hotel is beautiful, the pictures really don't do it justice. The location is incredible, the property is so beautiful and special, and the views are really spectacular. The restaurant is fantastic too, our dinner was amazing, and there were tons of breakfast options. The staff was so friendly and made us feel really special. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

EVERYTHING was superb. Chosen for our 50th anniversary. Would go back again and if in the area not stay anywhere else. A little slice of paradise made special by ALL the staff and the food is sensational. It is so worth the deviation.
