This is a great place, but the different rooms and chalets vary greatly in comfort and convenience. The Lune de Miele chalet is superb. If you have a room in the building which has 5 bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom, you will share a kitchen, unless of course you rent all the rooms! Bit like an upscale hostel. All the accomdation units have good kitchen facilities. The pool is nice but small, but big enough for a few strokes. Pleasant gazebo on the pool deck. Spectacular views. Great hospitality in the evenings with the hosts, with opportunities to meet with other guests. As in all of Rodrigues, the ability to converse in French makes a big difference socially.

It was a bit overpriced compared with other similar accommodation on the island. The breakfasts are included, but are quite sparse. It would have been nice to have an egg on occasion. That said, I would go back in a flash, but be careful with the description of the unit you are booking.

I loved the 'Gites Kreol' which I had all to myself. The welcome the 1st evening all guests were invited to dine with the family. Good food and atmosphere. French was the predominant language spoken, English was understood. Loved the infinity pool after a long day sightseeing. Highly recommend for a quiet relaxing stay. Next time I will bring my husband along to hopefully stay in the same accommodation as they have different styles of gites.

Faboulous accommodation. Within walking distance of English Bay, where there were a couple of restaurants.

super friendly owners, very helpful for organizing activities and providing information about the place! very delicious dinner cooked by the owner and delightful atmosphere at the table to integrate with the other guests
