The Breakfast was amazing and what do I tell you about the staff. Amazing through and through. Steward is a five star service person. Vanessa at the reception was a joy to converse with. There is also Christopher, Christopher and Kevans who were always happy to assist with a smile. What warmed our heart is the extra mile they went to cater for lunch and breakfast in the room during the Cyclonic conditions! For the lunch they didn't have to but they did at no extra costs for the client. If you want a hotel which has your back you made the right choice.

Recently renovated hotel with comfortable beds, good food, nice staff and beautiful beaches around.

It was VERY windy during our stay, which meant that all of the water activities were cancelled (except kite surfing) and there was not much to do during the day. Even the beach bar was closed three out of four days. We found it a bit disappointing that although we informed the hotel about an early arrival at noon, our room was ready exactly 3mins prior to normal check-in time. The prices for drinks at the beach bar are too high, so we ended up buying our own drinks at the supermarket. We were in a room in the second row and the ‘sea view’ was mainly the red roof of the house in front of us. Overall it’s a nice hotel but a windy location and therefore I would choose another part of the island if coming back to Rodrigues.

The manager was extremely helpful in sorting out a problem with the room we had booked on arrival and upgraded us swiftly to the one Booking.com had advertised in error without additional cost. It was all handled very professionally and all the staff were lovely during our stay. The seaview room was beautifully decorated with a lovely terrace overlooking the beach. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were delicious and offered a wide selection including vegetarian dishes. The whole hotel had a stylish but welcoming feel and we really didn't want to leave at the end of our 5 day stay.

Nothing although it is worth being aware that this hotel is on a beach very popular with wind surfers for a reason....it can and often is much windier than elsewhere on Rodrigues.

Unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to stay at this vibrant hotel, but enjoyed our stay in the sister hotel. However, I spent a day at C Rodrigues and I had a very good time. The food and drinks at the beach bar were very good, service as well. Breakfast was good too. I highly recommend people looking for an exciting and sporty stay to book at this hotel. According to our standards, we think that lots of nice spots are very accessible. You can book snorkeling trips at the boat house and our son did scuba diving with Bouba diving center (we didn't know that there were other diving centers around)

Lovely resort. All needs cared for by exceptionally caring and friendly staff. Food excellent both in variety and quality. Rooms very comfortable and spacious.

Prices of anything not included in the bookings - refering mostly to drinks. unfortunate with weather as cyclone disallowed the water activities we had planned for.

EVERYTHING!!!! The staff were the kindest and friendliest and would do anything to help you! The food was excellent. They prepared new type of food daily! We had daily entertainment: sega night/ karaoke/ dj night! The cocktails at the bar were delicious!!!! Loooooved playing board games every night at reception! I had the most relaxed holiday at C mourouk! Coming back next year!

The staff were all very helpful and there was always a smile on their face. Typically of Rodrigues people. Hats off !!! Also there is a consciousness on the environment from the people for their country.

Missing/uninteresting films to watch on TV

The big disappointment was the bar in the evening after dinner. Full of screaming children and the music was so loud and crap the barmen couldn't hear your order. The transfer from the airport at 65 euro each way was a rip off.

It was quite, clean, the food was very good.

The room is too small, some servants were too slow, maybe because not everybody speaks English fluently. There is not sufficient interaction for the guests.

What a great place! We all loved it and the staff were all very helpful, a particular mention to Henry in the restaurant, he was fabulous!

Perhaps a little more variety at dinner buffet.
