Perched slightly higher than the water's edge, the motel has a great view of the lake. We'll equipped rooms are lovely to stay in. A short walk away (downhill) there is a pub which serves good food. Rooms facing the lake are booked well in advance, so if you want one you'll need to book very early!

Nothing. Walking downhill and back up might be difficult for those with reduced mobility, even though the walk is very short at around 3 mins for an able walker.

Location was great, just by the lake and dock. Very close to the 'downtown' and park, which I believe is Cabano. We were only there for one night and didn't have time to explore, but will definitely be back soon to take part in more of the activities available in the area. On arrival, the owner was very friendly and chatted with us about all the facilities and activities available in the area. Rooms were basic but very nice and clean.

We had booked two rooms at the same price for the four of us. One of the rooms turned out to be much bigger than the other and had a full kitchen; the other did not. It would have been nice to know a little more about the facilities when booking and when taking possession of the keys.

The motel is located in a very neat section of town overlooking the water. It was a great view! Staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. They were welcoming for us to have our dog too. The room was very clean and well organized. A/C worked well and TV too. Loved the kitchenette as we went out and picked up a pizza.

I can't think of anything - was a perfect stay. Will remember this place for our next trip out East.

Quick access off the Trans Canada highway, and you are in a nice little resort town on a beautiful lake. The unit we stayed in was a motel drive up, very clean and comfortable with a kitchenette. Also a smart tv to sign in to your streaming apps. A short drive to the Metro grocery store provided us with supplies for supper, breakfast and a packed lunch for the next day of driving. Cross the road, and you can walk to the lake shore for a spectacular view up and down Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac. Lovely, quiet off season stop!

Cabano was a nice little town only problem the roads have been updates and did not show on our GPS we could not even find the town Cabano it was dark and we were lost on 185 sud so we had to look for motels on our GPS and found Motel Royal and said GO this worked so remember this exit HWY 40 otherwise it was a great place

On the back of your billing confirmation include directions eg #185 exit 40 then dir to hotel

This place is a gem. I have no idea why it's only 2 stars. The room was spacious and the view was amazing as we were on the lakeside of the hotel. The staff is very friendly. Beautiful place to walk and stretch after a long day in the car. Our room and bathroom were super clean. We had a special request and they were also very kind and accommodating for our special needs daughter. Highly recommend.

There isn't anything I didn't like. The only thing is maybe the star-rating should be higher to match the price for those who are just booking online without seeing it. We already knew it was nice because we have family who stay often.

We thought we'd be at the motel before supper time so around 8:00pm we received a phone call from Sebastian at the front desk asking us if we were still coming in and if everything was ok. Since we were about 2 hours from there, he told us there was no rush and to drive carefully! When we got there, we were received with a great big smile and he had such a nice personality! He even took time to show us our room and told us all about the lake (and since it was raining to be careful on the deck because it was slippery) and the little bread shop down the road!! Exceptional service!

Breakfast was N/A. Location was perfect for the occasion we attended in Cabano! Size of room was perfect for the (3) of us. Room was clean, bathroom was very clean! Beds were clean & comfortable! Motel attendant (Sebastian) was all you can expect in customer service, he was awesome! Morning attendant was also very helpful with ice for our coolers before we headed back to Maine!

There was no outlet in bathroom for dryer and curler. Also no soap in dispenser in shower (for future customers, we brought our own products) Light in room flickered on and off (short maybe?)

The location on the Temiscouata Lake was exceptional and breathtaking. You can sit on their common deck overlooking the lake. You can also book a room with the deck overlooking the lake. The room itself was very clean.

The beds were hard for me and the air conditioner had to be turned on manually and could not be reached easily. Had to climb on a chair to turn it on and off.

We really liked this place. Our room came with a kitchenette and two living room chairs which made it very comfortable. It came with dishes and soap and even a broom to clean and a beautiful Lakeview from our window. Very well located with restaurants and bars within walking distance. We definitely recommend it.
