On the outskirts of Maun, Cresta Maun (not to be confused with Cresta Riley) is a good option if you have a car/van or don't mind using taxis to get around and into the city. A mid-range, pleasant hotel with modern facilities, it has a nice pool, bar and dining area, dine in breakfast buffet and decent rooms. We had one stay in a suite, which was large, especially the bathroom area. The second stay was in a second smaller standard room, which looked as if it had been refurbished. Both were fine. The thing that distinguishes the hotel is it's friendly staff. Although our stay wasn't perfect, the staff always attempted to help us and made every effort to look after us. We felt very lucky to stay there.

Bar staff could do with a little more training, with gin being served instead of vodka etc. The air con units don't work as well as they should. We used ours with our fan, directing the cold air around the room :) We had some delay with check in on the first day, with a late check out somehow scheduled for our room which delayed cleaning. We waited two hours in 38 degrees so it wasn't a great start. But the staff really tried very hard to make sure we were looked after and everything went smoothly after that.

Rooms were comfortable. Staff were helpful.

Your system was down so we werent able to check in / register on arrival. My final bill included accommodation which i had already paid for. Bill had to be re-issued. At your price point you could provide real coffee in the rooms.

Nice comfortable motel with good food and facilities. The common areas were well set out.

The shower in the room was awkward and quite inconvenient. Water splashed into the room despite best efforts, so needed to be mopped up with towels. Because the hotel is spread out there is a lot of walking up and down stairs which was also inconvenient at times.

Online Booking system, could not extend it when we wanted to add one more day. However, we wete assisted on arrival.

As for the breakfast was of a higher class and sufficient to all the guest. We got everything in breakfast including fruits.

Everything was superb. We were impressed with a conducive environment, especially at ghe 🏋️‍♀️ 💪 that was wonderful.exposure. Bravo!! Bravo!!

The staff was awesome. I appreciated each and every single one of the staff that helped and accommodated my requests during my stay.

Friendly staff and clean rooms

Room was small for the price, would prefer to have the shower and toilet seperate from the room.

The staff is phenomenal, from management, reception and restaurant..Very organised, respectful and welcoming, they made my stay a pleasant one.

The rooms are never really ready..There were no towels, hot water or drinking water sometimes.

I had a one night stop over to Shakawe with my family and the kids absolutely enjoyed theis stay. The ambience and comfort is amazing and the staff is friendly.
