The location was wonderful - it felt a bit like being in the middle of nature, although it was only a 15 minutes walk to town. Everything was green and it was very quiet and peaceful. It would be nice having something to relax in the nice garden area (like hammocks or sunbeds). The room was spacious, had a nice chair, table and TV and the bed was comfortable. The people were really nice and helpful, even after I left. Great value for money, I would always come back, when I'm in Blantyre.

They served breakfast only from 7 to 8. Thats not what you want in your holidays. I spend my first days in Malawi there and wanted to relax a bit and not get up that early. I was so shocked, that they offered me to come half an hour later, what was very nice. But it should be possible to organize more convenient breakfast times. By the way, on my last day I saw some people getting breakfast after ten and felt a bit cheated out of two hours sleep:-).

The room was very clean. Very basic, just a bed, but the bed was one of the nicer ones I’ve come across in Africa. Nice enough bathroom. For the price this place is very very nice. Breakfast was nothing special but better than nothing.

Loads, and I mean loads, of mosquitoes but thankfully the mosquito net was really good. So many mosquitoes that there was this constant noisy buzz. Never seen that many mosquitoes outside of my net before.

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast included on the price. Spacious dorm bedroom. A fairly central location to Blantyre town.

The Wi-Fi never worked during my stay. No bottled water available, even if bought. No common room, only the dining room to meet in.

Alan and the team were great. The room was comfortable, hot water pressure was great, breakfast was included and they were helpful in getting me mosquito coils to sleep a bit easier at night and Alan was very helpful at answering my numerous questions! Thank you!

Super nice accommodation in a peaceful area. Staff was super friendly, price was great and everything worked. Breakfast was also delicious! Hot water was also a nice to have.

Liked the room, and the location was great, quiet, hidden place but still close to town. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Big thank you to all staff for making the stay more enjoyable.

Water pressure was sometimes an issue, and blackouts happened a few times during our 2-week stay. But these seem to be a problem for the entire Malawi. We drove to the North and experienced similar issues.

Alan and the staff where very accommodating. The communication before and during the stay was also great.
