Al Thea offers the best customer service and top-notch facilities. We were particularly impressed with the swimming pool. The breakfast was delicious, featuring many unique dishes each day. The staff provided plenty of information and tips on the nearest beaches, which was very helpful. Our room (Room 4) was spacious, with a massive bed, air conditioning, and stunning views of the beach and the pool. We highly recommend this hotel! Please try to have lunch or dinner here as well. We had an excellent fresh fish prepared by the owner. Also, complementary figs on arrivals were the best in the world! 🙂 Thank you Maria 😍

The hotel is amazing, a gem in Karpathos island. It is comfortably located in a hill overlooking Ammopi bay. The spacious and elegantly decorated rooms as well as the kindness of the owners provided me with an amazing and relaxing stay. When I go to Karpathos again, Althea Hotel will be my first choice for accomodation.

A fantastic place to stay for the ultimate relaxation. The location and the design and interior of the apartments is so well planned and performed that it makes you feel you are in paradise. Breakfast in the morning is an amazing experience in itself. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I am going back here.

Lovely hotel a 5 minute walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in Karpathos. The rooms are very tastefully done and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Maria and her sons and the rest of the staff are so attentive and made our time in katpathos super special. The breakfast is delicious and varied and was a real highlight for us. Thank you and we hope to come back soon!

The hotel consisted of beatiful, and verry stylish decorated apparment/bungalows. All with nice terrasses with see view. The pantry in our bungalow was well equipped. Very friendly and helpful staff. The beach was less than a five minute drive away.

There is a relatively large, open area which in centrally located in the complex. It would be a logical location for a swimming pool that probably will be realised in a more distant future. But for the rest everything was perfect. Althea is very stylish and smart looking.

The warm hospitality. the beauty of the design. Maria. the owner and the manager is an artist and her touch is present at every corner of the place. She was also very helpful for advice concerning places to go ans things to do. All staff members are family members. and they do their best to make you feel at home. If we ever come back to Karpathos it will be definitely to this hotel.

Breakfast was excellent. rich and different every day. Personally we would prefer to have more vegetables and less pastry.

Attention to detail. Perfect for couples. Quiet. Peaceful. Very helpful and friendly staff. Especially so, Maria, the owner.

Excellent freshly prepared homemade breakfast served to your table by members of the family of the owners. Beautiful sea view from the breakfast area. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Beautifully designed and very pleasant rooms with everything you could want - comfortable bed, lots of room, great shower, super clean and new towels and sheets, great soaps/shampoos, some fruit in the refrigerator and other snacks in the room, a nice kitchen and outside space to sit and watch the view. Great Tavernas within a minute's drive. Would happily return for a longer stay.

Really all great ! Just to know that the location is not ideal for walking to the beach (though possible by a downhill road with no sidewalk), but rather better for a really short two minute drive - to the best beach ever - Mikri Amoopi ! Hope in future there will be a pool.
