the owners are really nice and they know how to be welcoming. the receptionist from the 2nd shift is nice too, she offered us a lot of recommendations on what to do and where to eat. The location is nice, very easy to reach and the parking is well organized.

the room is not so comfy. we needed to say what we want to eat but everything was in a plastic, even the jam. When you have such a wonderful products in Greece, how can you give low quality products from the supermarket? Please add better options from the village so we can enjoy. Besides some pastry that were local, the rest was from the supermarket: honey, juice...

It’s truly an amazing family hotel. The staff couldn’t be friendlier and more hospitable. The location is perfect, the hotel has a pool to enjoy. Rooms are always clean and nice to come back to.

The only downside was breakfast. The breakfast is served by ticking off the list of items at check in, you’d want to have, and then you get the exact same breakfast every morning. It might not be a problem if you stay a couple of days but it becomes a little monotonous if you stay nearly a week. You can order a slightly different egg dishes for an extra fee but it doesn’t change much. There’s a lack of fruit and vegetables. Frankly, if there was a way to turn their breakfast into a small buffet instead of serving individual portions that would add a lot of value. :)

Thank you Kostas and Maria, you have created a wonderful atmosphere. Room was nice and contemporary, probably renovated lately. Good quality renovation. AC, comfortable bed, minifridge, TV, hairdryer, iron, safe. Clean. Bed linen and towels were clean/spotless and had a fresh scent. Replaced every morning. General cleaning and trash bin was emptied every morning. Location is good, relatively quiet. Beach, shops, restaurants, port nearby. Free hotel parking lot beside the hotel, handy when exploring the island by car. Pool was nice, though not so big. Breakfast was good but somewhat optimised, no buffet but served on tray. Coffee and juice were buffet style.

Maybe one thing to improve is breakfast. Another chair in the room could help to place clothes. Overall, small things, in general, very good experience.

Highly recommend this hotel! The location is excellent- it is close to many shops and restaurants and within a few minutes walk to a beautiful beach. Maria and Costas went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. They were so warm and welcoming and really made the holiday comfortable and lovely! My husband is a wheelchair user and we had booked a room with a balcony which he could not get on with his wheelchair. Within an hour of finding this out, Maria and Costas had called a carpenter and had a ramp installed so that we could get full use of the balcony. What great customer service! We cannot say enough good about this hotel and the owners!

First of all the room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. The variety of food was amazing. From sweet pastery to eggs,jogurts,fruits, etc. But the greatest thing about everything was the staff. We had a problem with checkout. We miss the date of checkout,yes,crazy. 😅 But the staff was very kind to help us with everything, from looking for a ferry that we missed, to the room where we could stay for another day. Just a big thank you to everyone for their effort and for the help. Big big big recommendation for this hotel. You will for sure have the pleasent stay. P.s. the frappé was amazing, and we safely arrived at Athens. Thank you Kostas and everyone!

Very good position on the edge of town, close enough to the beach and all the shops. A very clean hotel with a lovely small pool area, good continental breakfast served on a tray to your table that you choose the items for on arrival. The food was plentiful and if you want more you can ask for more. Wonderful owners who really look after you and will help with anything

We absolutely loved our stay at the Erato hotel. The welcome and hospitality we received from Kostas & Maria was so wonderful, they could not have been kinder and we really appreciated the extra little things they did for us during our stay. The room was very comfortable, with a lovely front facing balcony, a lovely breakfast personalised to your preferences, and we also enjoyed spending a day by the pool, which has great sunbeds, plenty of shade and was so clean and refreshing. Amazing value for money, and I plan to return one day.

Our stay here was wonderful, the best hotel we ever stayed at. Maria and Kostas, the hosts, are the nicest people. They are ready to help you with anything, all the time, very attentive to your needs, very proactive. We recommend the hotel with all our hearts! We felt extraordinary here!

Everything was perfect!

Erato Hotel is a pleasant place to stay in Agia Marina. If you like a more relaxing and quiet atmosphere, then it's worth staying in Agia Marina rather than in Aegina town even if it makes getting there a bit more difficult (and costly if you miss the last bus and have to take a taxi instead). Within Agia Marina itself the hotel is located just far away enough from the most noisy part of town yet still close enough to get to where you need to go (restaurants, bus stop, beach) within just a few minutes' walk. The staff there also were very welcoming and friendly - check-in was a breeze. Breakfast also had a wide enough range of options. It also was nice to have a room literally right by the pool - the patio was a nice place to sit and relax (just be wary of the mosquitoes in the evening, though the hotel does conveniently provide anti-mosquito equipment if needed).

Wifi was a bit spotty at times, but still functional.
