We needed to cancel our visit at the very last moment due to one of us four contracting covid-19. So we contacted Landgasthof Zum Stern and the lady said that that was no problem and she was fine with us having our money refunded. That was so generous of her, specially because the cancellation was made at the very last day! She also mentioned that if we needed to come in, she would find a solution that would limit the chances of infecting somebody else. So we could choose what we did. To be able to choose what opportunity suited us best given the circumstances was so great! In the end we drove on straight to home in the Netherlands.

The owners & staff where very helpful, everything about the place & location exceeded my expectations, as was the food on an evening and the breakfast, true Bavarian hospitality I will certainly stay again on another roadtrip Thanks for everything

There is nothing to dislike

We had a pleasant stay in this country Inn that has been managing by the family's 4th generation. Around 20-min drive to Bad Kissingen and lies on the outskirts of Obererthal. Staffs are friendly and they provide German cuisine in their restaurant.

Pillows weren't fully-filled as this was uncomfortable while sleeping especially if you've reflux.

Everything was all right and the restaurant exceeded our expectations. We stayed one night with two little children. The room was big enough, the bathroom all right, the beds were comfortable. We got a delicious dinner. It turned out the restaurant is well known for its cuisine in the area. There were tables in- and outside. We went for a walk in the village before dinner. The staff was friendly and helping.

There was no such thing.

Excellent food and a very good stop off when travelling from North Germany to Munich. The staff are exceptionally helpful and their rooms are pristine.

I found nothing to dislike

The owners were very welcoming! We made a reservation for a 3-bed room but since it was full we got a big apartment instead. And it was lovely and spacious! Value for the money either apartment or normal room.

Everything is perfect. This hotel&restaurant are owned by one family for many many years. Very attentive to details, perfectly clean. Top recommendation in this area!

We had a brand new room which was nicely furnished. Bed was nice and comfortable. The owners were friendly and we enjoyed a great dinner and breakfast.

No air conditioning and it didn't have a window with a fly screen. It only had a patio door which we couldn't leave open without getting mosquitoes inside...never mind someone walking un on us. It was pretty warm in the room at night.
