I had a wonderful spacious room with breathtaking view over the river and mountains. Staff were very professional, the bed was very comfortable, the provided coffee in the room was great and I loved using the gym, pool and public bath.

Very spacious and comfortable. If you have a car you can park in the parking space nearby and you can walk right to the hotel basement. The hotel also have a fitness room but too bad we only stayed for one night so we did not have time to visit the fitness room.

Some of the staffs could not speak English but good thing is that there's an international staff who can speak English but he does not know a lot about the town when I asked for some nice restaurant nearby so he has to ask Japanese staffs. It's took some times to communicate. Anyway, it turned our okay.

Impressive hotel with incredibly spacious rooms - which is rare for Japan. Everything was very clean and well organized. We told the hotel receptionist that we are a couple on our honeymoon and he was kind enough to upgrade us to a higher floor which includes free lounge access.

The location is in the outskirts of Gifu town, so it’s a little less comfortable if you’re planning to visit the town itself (we were only passing through on the way to our next destination). We paid for a room that included breakfast and paid for dinner during our stay. Both were just OK as the dish selection wasn’t too big.

If you are attending events in the Gifu conference center, this is definitely the hotel to stay at. Priced roughly in the range of US motels, this hotel can easily out-compete the Hiltons, Hyatts, and Marriotts in terms of amenities, services, rooms, restaurants, and general comfort. Amazing value, service, and style.

Restaurant options. While there were 2 nice restaurants available - they filled quickly so only other option was the buffet. Buffet was OK, not great and not what we were looking for. Would have been helpful to have been informed we should make reservations versus waiting for dinner time to try to get a table.

The hotel is very well presented with exceptional facilities The room was larger than any that we stayed in during our Japan holiday. Dining in the Teppanyaki was pricey but food and service was exceptional. Pool and spa facilities were also another great feature. Breakfast was a mix of western and local and was great value at $18

A pleasant check-in. The front staff were courteous and helpful. The location was great. From the room we could see the river below which was nice. You can have a morning walk / jog beside the river. And at night walk a little further downstream and catch cormorant fishing in action.

Location along the riverside is stunning! Get a river facing room. Staff were all fabulous and the loaner bikes were in top condition. We went all around town on them Room size was USA-like... Huge by Japanese standards The amenities were all top notch

The interior, while absolutely spotless and in perfect condition, felt a bit dated... Sort of the 90s earthtone theme

There was a great spread for breakfast! The food was splendid! The room was clean and comfortable, and the view of the Nagara River was gorgeous. Staff were very professional and kind. Location is good too!

Gifu is a great place to visit and this hotel is close to Gifu Park and Gifu Castle. If you are looking for an authentic experience in Japan, this is an excellent area to visit. The hotel is luxurious - the rooms are large and have great facilities.
