Beautiful views, very courteous staff, great food and pleasant ambience. Friendly resident dogs were also a big plus!

Stay at Samskara was everything as expected and hoped for. Focus on cleanliness, good food and warm service. Hotel Manager Amit and our room service manager Himanshu were great and always greeted with a smile. We almost ate all meals over 3 days at the hotel as outside the options weren't that good and fortunately while menu is limited, they were always prepared fresh and on order. Our 5 yr old daughter generally very picky about her food also enjoyed the meals. They prepared bonfire over 2 nights with light music which added to the experience. They even have a small library and games available on request for good family time. Overall excellent stay with good memories. Thanks to Samskara And Samsara.

Bar was closed, but claims to have oldest bar in the city. They are awaiting renewal of licence

Very neat and well-maintained rooms and bathrooms. Food was wonderful. Staff are exceptionally polite and helpful.

The property can be a little more childproof. Grills on balconies and terraces and staircases are wide and easy to fall through for toddlers. Parents need to be alert. But this is a concern that only applies to families with toddlers.

Improvement point I didn’t like, I shared also during checkout, we took family suite having 2 separate rooms but the washroom was quite small and that too just 1 washroom. When you are paying for a family suite, it is expected that you will have a decent washroom but it was so small that only 1 person could barely stand. Probably, this is a point to be looked at and also the rooms which were of lower category than ours was having bigger balcony while our balcony was quite small.

The breakfast as well as other food/ snacks were delicious. The staff is very much service oriented and courteous. The location is very charming. the leadership of Mr. Sunil Rawat in terms of hospitality is applaudable. Others like Ms Priyanka, Mohan are very supportive too. Mr. Ashish needs a special mention for providing delicious food. All other staff members are outstanding too.

Nothing much. The hotel is away from main town. I would appreciate if the Hotel keeps a provision for pick and drop to Lansdowne.

One of the amazing stay in Lansdowne with beautiful view and spacious rooms. We rally enjoyed our stay. The service is very good. Food is amazing.

The location of the property is just perfect. They have signboards at the first view of Lansdown and even right before the entry to the property.

Ambience and staff. However, some people in the tent next were causing disturbances. Loud talk, loud music, and trying to get into a conversation in Bengali ( in a bad accent) which caused me tremendous irritation.

Our stay at Samskara and Samskara was great and peaceful. The staff was cooperative and humble.

A little bit of entertainment activities should be organised for guest during evening/night. An effective Wi-Fi connection would have been a plus too.
