Excellent location in Torfhaus for all the forest walks in the area, and with the viewing tower right on the doorstep. The house we stayed in was excellent too, with everything we needed, and very nicely put together.

The only negative for us was that there were limited vegetarian options on the menus in all the local restaurants, including the hotel's restaurant. We also thought €50 for breakfast for two adults and a child was a little much, so we self catered for breakfast.

I like particular the breakfast and the sauna! During our stay, the weather didn't allow us to explore more, but the sauna made us feel worthy visiting. And the location is convenient to reach to the bus station!

I would suggest to provide the kettle in the room. During my stay, I was ill and my throat required constantly moisture from warm water. However, I needed to go to the restaurant, there was an evening that the restaurant closed their kitchen and I couldn't get the warm water. That sleep wasn't not good.

The location of the accommodation cannot be faulted and despite the poor weather conditions, you were still able to have amazing views and vista's. The house itself from the outside is very attractive, however we were a little disappointed with the living space, as this was not really suitable for the needs of our family, particularly from a comfort point of view in the evening. The accommodation itself was clean and well equipped - it just lacked comfort, and we felt it was over-priced for a one night stay

Our location within the resort was in the other side of the main road and we had to cross the road every day for the breakfast.

Fantastic rooms. Very comfortable beds and nice spacious bedrooms. Nice furnishing with coffee machine and kettle in room. Beautiful sauna area overlooking Brocken.

Restaurant was not functional so not able to have dinner or breakfast on site. They should really provide somewhere to prepare food in this case as the only restaurant nearby was fully booked.

I really liked the "close to nature" vibe of this hotel. The rooms are neat and cosy, the staff is kind and willing to help you with any matter that you might have.

There was no breakfast option at all (although while making the reservation it was stated that we can pay extra to get breakfast) - might be quite confusing. Apparently their restaurant room burnt and right now they are just giving away a "breakfast packs" - not the same thing though!

The bed, the facilities in the hotel, across a tourist information, very nice staff and basically everything. Would recommend.

The construction, the lots of dead three’s in the area around the hotel and that there wasn’t much choice for breakfast.

Great and quiet location (out of the main summer season). The house was great, but I could only stay for one night. Definitely recommend for a longer stay for a few people or a family.

I didn't order breakfast, but if I did, I would have to wait until 8 a.m. to get just a package (covid restrictions?). I left at 7 a.m. without the breakfast and headed to eat at the nearest town on the way home.

Room was clean and comfortable bed.

On the maps it shows store, not the actual hotel. Hotel is on the other side of the street. Room was cold and windovs was open, turned the heating to the max and still didnt get comfortably warm till morning. At reception, worker didnt talked in english at all.
