Hotel is in very convenient location - just outside of Milan but also only a short distance to Lake Como, which was one of our day trip destinations. Just a short stroll to the train station which made things very easy. Facilities were great and room was a good size.

Unfortunately the staff were not very welcoming when we first arrived. It felt as though we were interrupting them. We had travelled from Sydney via Singapore and London and this was the first real "stop" of our holiday - we were quite tired and needed a rest - we were left standing in front of the desk for much longer than was necessary without even an acknowledgement that we were there! "Welcome to The Grand Milan" would have been nice.

The hotel locates outside Milan, was easy to go to Milan with the local train. We also traveled with our car and 2 bikes, so their underground parking lot was very good when we left our car there during the day, and took the train to explore Milan. Breakfast was ok, not fancy but good enough.

The hardware of the hotel is really pretty old, not a turnoff, but just a note. What surprised me was the lack of warmth of the hotel staff... maybe they are used to a "distant business look"? but during our check-in, check-out and some inquiries during the stay, the staff did not smile at all. They provided sufficient answers overall, but did not make us feel welcome at all, a pity.

The hotel is very nice and tidy. Our room was big and comfortable. The hotel provide a lot of helpful facilities, such as : room service, nice pool and gym, restaurants etc. The hotel provided us parking. The hotel's location is quite good, close to a train station that takes you to the center of Milan (30 minutes ride).

The hotel is in a good location if you want to visit Milano and the surrounding places. It takes you 30 mins more or less to get by car to Milano center. The hotel was clean and parking was immediately available in front of the hotel, although it is not guarded. If you want to park in the Hotel's parking you need to pay 12 EUR per night. We only stayed one night so not much we got to experience. There is also a supermarket 4 mins away by car and many other places one might need. It is very close to the highway so that was also an advantage. The pizza in the hotel's lobby restaurant is quite good and we enjoyed it with a couple of local beers. Will visit again when coming to Milan.

When mandatory to have bathing cap and slippers in the swimming pool area - crazy to have to to pay €12 for each person for this! This should be for free, or at least for a low self cost. When have to pay for a whole family for this, that's a noticeable extra cost for only one night stay. And we have to cool down - when it's 35 grades celsius.

I have been several times in this hotel. the location is perfect, a few minutes (walking distance) from the railway station of Saronno; here you can fine trains that in 20/30 minutes can bring you both to the centre of Milano or to "Milano Malpensa", the airport of Milano. So it also a perfect choice if you need to go to this airport, which is quite far from Milano (1h by train). The rooms are spacious and fully equipped; the staff is always very professional and careful. Saronno city is also nice to visit; around the hotel there are some bars, and cafes (useful if you travel early in the morning) and some restaurants. Overall, a very good choice.

We had big suit with 2 rooms, very spacious, comfortable beds. Breakfast was good. .

We made online check-in, but when we arrived at 11pm, we stilll had to queue and present all documents for check-in. What is the point to offer online option for speed check-in?! Our daughter forgot in the hotel her favourite plush toy, I wrote them via Booking, no answer. After I wrote directly, they answered several days later saying no toys was detected, though we are sure she left it there (..

Overall excellent price to quality ratio. Lots of space and facilities in the family room, nice and complete breakfast, indoor pool that is available even during the winter. Special welcome package for the child, sweets etc. in the room. Parking and big supermarket nearby.

Biggrer / more comfortable mattress, amount of complimentary still water should match number of people (not just 0.5l for the family). MInor things

The room itself (suite) was superb: very big and comfortable (2 adults + 2 young children). Nice bathroom. Bar downstairs was nice. Underground parking (albeit not entirely private). Easy access to railway station with good connection to Milan. Very good hotel for travelling with kids.

Staff at the reception desk could've been a bit nicer, as interactions felt rather transactional and to an extent somewhat blunt (although this may also be due to the language barrier).

Great cost benefit. Breakfast was good. Location is near the train station, 5 minutes walking. Gym is well equipped.

To use the swimming pool you need the cap, which is sold at the reception for €5. Also, bath was clogged, water did not go down properly. Breakfast has many options, but if you want extras, you gotta pay. Also, small room for breakfast, people waiting to sit down. Receptionist did not give us two beds as requested and approved by them prior.
